I've had my iPhone 6 for a few days. Upgraded from the 5. I love the design and size. Siri seems to work great as well as touch ID. LOVE THAT!

I'm having an issue with the phone going black now and then when switching to landscape while texting. That seems to be the only glitch so far.

I'm a girl and I have smaller hands, so one handed texting (which I usually do with my left hand) isn't as easy as it was with the 5. I have the Incipio Dual Pro case, so it's soft and not super grippy. I may get a case with a more rubbery feel so it sticks to my hand a little better. But I don't like silicone, so we will see.

Overall very happy with it :D

You should take it in to the Apple Store and let them run a diagnostic on it. If can remember there was issue with some of the 6 64gb and 6plus 128gb. With the same problem u are having now. But good thing is apple will replace it for if needed.

Here is mine going to ask about this when I go to the apple store on Monday. While I am qurious to know the answer for this. It might be nothing to worry about. My wife 6 does this as well.

Could be the vibration motor?

Went into the Apple store on Monday, ready to complain about the lack of inventory, but decided to do so cordially and I am glad I did! They had plenty of inventory and the only glitch was that I had to go to an AT&T store to get the new SIM card; that took longer than getting the phone.

A buddy of mine got an early 6+ and while I was a bit apprehensive about the size, it is a natural. Sprang for the 64GB deal and glad that I did. I had tried out my wife's 5S and immediately decided that the 6+ was the superior choice....easier keyboarding and when I watched a video, the screen size is superb.

Got mine. I really like the phone however I find that the 6 feels a tad big. I am coming from a 4s though.

That'll pass. I felt the same way when I got mine. Two months later it feels normal, my only issue is thumb reachability is limited for me. I sometimes have to shift my phone in my hand to reach the top left corner with my right thumb. Other than that the phone feels normal to me as opposed to feeling big when I first purchased it.

I received two iPhones yesterday.
iPhone 6 Plus SG/64 - Delivered for Me
iPhone 6 Si-/64 - Delivered for my Mum

Restored from backup. All systems go....

Coming from using a 4S, the 6 Plus does seem a bit of a handful. I'm accustomed to using two hands most of the time, so it seems natural on the Plus. No issues after one day of using it.

Just got a Plus at an Apple store (plenty of stock).

I must say i'm a bit impressed as I opened some of my Kindle books that have lots of graphics and they actually look ok.

These books are not easy to look at on an iPad let alone a phone, but it sort of works.

Might actually use this for more than calls :)

16 gb??

I would 'reluctantly' say 16gb is not enough (I have 64GB).

then again, if it's just a phone, and your going to play a few card like games, and use it for web and documents 16gb is enough.

Movies no
Any space hog app....no

then again, if your strapped for cash, don't overspend.

Also, if your unsure, and not terribly strapped for cash, definitely get 64GB.

I used to get the 16GB versions of iPad and phones. It led to rather annoying space issues. Regardless of the substantial discomfort in shelling out the initial amount, I do get the 64GB versions now.

I always get a 16gb phone/ipad. I use photostream, which does not use storage on your device. That allows my recent 1000 photos to be viewed on all of my devices. I have a box account with 100gb of free storage that I upload photos I want to keep to. I delete the photos from my camera roll after I upload them.

upgraded from 64GB iPhone 5 to 128GB iPhone 6+
battery life is just eternal compared to old phone - 29 hours of standby/9 hours of usage, and still on 40% battery. insane!

what shocked me as well, is the audio quality. same ALAC file played on iPhone5 sounds just, well, ok. on new one the soundstage is much wider, sound is much more detailed and pristine. love it.

everything else about iPhone 6+ is well known. so far its the best phone Apple has made, period. at least for my taste :)

So you can get the photos off your phone to free up space, but still access them in a second's notice through the cloud somehow?

Photostream does use device storage.

I honestly did not think it did. Granted it is only 1000 photos, so that is not much storage at all. I know for a fact that shared photo streams do not take up space.

You can create a shared photo stream, which allows storage of photos and videos (up to 5000), and use them like an album and then delete the photos from the camera roll.

It's not a huge amount, no. But they do all take space. I'm going to experiment with onedrive and googledrive, as I can't see how I'm going to be able to use apple's solution unless I pay for more than 30 GB of storage in icloud...

I would gladly pay for apple's storage if it was like dropbox or other cloud storage. The problem is the photos have to be on your device. If you delete the photo from your device, it is removed from apple's cloud storage. That is way different than dropbox/box. They should have just expanded photostream and made icloud photos like dropbox.

My initial understanding was that your whole photo library would be kept in the cloud and you could download what you wanted. The only real benefit is that you can choose to download iPhone-optimised photos which presumably take up less space. Not sure if this is possible if syncing offline.

My one drive account has 30GB space. Which is very generous. It would just make things like using shared photos streams and my normal iPhoto workflow more complicated.

Maybe it is just me but doesn't most people upload their photo's to Facebook or instagram now days? Not sure why you would keep a phone full of 1,000+ Photo's. But I am a guy, Might be different for a girl lol.

I went with 16GB model but I am sure it will all be a major upgrade for me being I am still using a iphone 3gs 8GB right now.. Which I still have 2.1GB free on. :D

I feel in love at first site I think the 6+ is the perfect size!!
I Dont think it was to big at all, iphone+tablet= "phablet" and thus the iPhone 6+ was born. To much phone to handle get ya a 6 and shud it.

Another first impression was just being blown away as competitors tried everything in their power to emulate the iPhone ever since 2007. I thought how perfect! Here's a snap of my landscape springboard.

Err, you've a few unread emails there buddy!

I'm afraid I'm even more confused on the storage issues involved with photostream and icloud.

But can somone clarify this one question? Let's say I keep all my photos in the cloud, and generally keep them off my phone. If someone then says to me "do you have any pics of Sarah's wedding?" can I say "I sure do. Give me two seconds and I'll download it from the cloud onto my phone right now so I can show them to you".

Is that doable?
