Glad you've come to your senses. It's the only choice, at least for men.

This sums it up well. They all look nice, but one color is for men and two colors are for ladies.

Well I'm a lady which is why I was drawn to the non space grey options.

Oh no please gentlemen let's not start anything here, yes as a man I love my SG. But as male & female we all like different colors right? So it's all good.

Never understood how a white iPhone is for women and a black iPhone is for men.... Did Steve or Tim announce this when they revealed the white iPhones, did I miss the memo? #

Oh no here we go, This is exactly what I didn't what. It's all good what ever your choice was on colors for the 6/6+ I am sure u are happy with it. And in the end, that's what matters.

I got my Plus the other day, never seen one till the day I bought mine.

First impressions are its too big. But being too big makes it great for websites, etc. I am migrating naturally to using two handed more and more. While its less then half the screen real estate of an iPad Mini, I do treat it as an iPad as the viewing size and what you can see and how well it is to read makes it iPad like. On my 5S it was a PITB but I could read stuff, but chose to not go to websites much.

I find I am holding it as if it was delicate. And while I got a lip case, I need to find a way to carry it around, as I don't put it in pants pockets, and its summer here so no jacket required.

I use my iPad Air outside, in the sun, having a cold one mainly. I am interested if I just use the Plus. Maybe not, but I will use the Plus in an iPad way more often when away from home as its very useable at websites, and any other function that has a lot of detail on screen.

When I locate a carry case type of thing I will be set

Yeah, what a concept that color is somehow connected to gender, especially when it comes to rather common colors like white, black, gray, silver, or gold.

I'm just saying, because you're not the first one on here who's said something along those lines. Which I think is in a way dumb thinking. Why should a man be subjected to a black phone because others think its manly? Like you said you weren't trying to start anything up but there are lots and lots of people on here with that thought process.

walked into the At&t store in Sandy Utah. Went to transfer my line to my brother's account. ended up buying the 6 plus. LOVING it. its simply awesome.

Listen I was by no means saying the SG is for men. And the others colors are for women. I was just saying how much I love my SG 64GB 6+, and that I have always have black iPhones in the past. Every body has there preferences on colors and among other things. I would never come on here and say what colors are for specific genders. And I say again, that I am sure u are happy with what ever choice of color u made when ordering your phone right? It's all good.

Oh. Then of course you were drawn to the other colors. My apologies.

Sure, everyone is free to choose the colors they want. There is no shame in a man wanting the girly colors of white and gold, or a woman wanting the masculine space grey. Everyone should choose what they like -- it's the 21st century!

White is a girly color (and that's not even looking at the fact that colors have no gender relationship)? And men don't wear gold or silver jewelry and haven't bren doing it for ages?

None of the colours are gender exclusive. I get the impression you are fishing for reactions with comments like that. It's absolute nonsense to suggest a series of neutral colours are only desirable to certain genders. If that were the case I wouldn't have made the choice I did so that dunks that theory my friend.

Totally agree. I had a 3G when all you could get was black, wasn't that great, loved when the white 4s became available it looked more like my 24 inch iMac (white front). Got the gold 5s, the colors on the gold and silver phones remind me of anodized aluminum mechanical pencils which I thought were pretty cool. And black shows scratches really quickly, anyone that has owned a black car can tell you black is a scratch magnet - whereas white is not.

Love the camera on the 6Plus, took my dog to the dog park today and the image stabilization is really great.

No it's definitely all good. Just stating that there are people on here who think white is for girls and black for guys. But it's all good, apologies for the misunderstanding.

You telling me that Apple needs to pretend the demand is high for the phone by lowering the output so they can somehow manage to sell the iPhone 6 (which otherwise according to the theory wouldn't sell well) ??

Yes, exactly what I'm suggesting. Although, I'm not suggesting the iPhone wouldn't sell well, but limiting supply keeps-up the illusion to consumers that the iPhone is a unique and exclusive product, even though in reality every Tom, Dick and Harry has one.

And totally ignoring the statistics with the sale figures? I can understand if that was the yet to be launched Apple Watch or some other not so popular product but the iPhone 6? Don't you think that there have to be some sort of limit to how many iPhone 6/+ Foxconn can produce in a single day, even after a massive recruitment they have done purposely for the iPhone production?

The iPhone has become more popular and sold more units with each release, but the supply is always limited to a similar level. Yes, if Apple wanted to, I think they could match demand.

Yeah dude, you are free to believe whatever myth you want.

Thank you.

Those people do seem to be in the minority though. We've had polls and countless threads on this and it's clear black and white iPhones are equally popular among males and females. You usually get 5 or so posters suggesting White is feminine but I question whether they actually believe that, or whether they know full well it starts an argument.

I have never encountered somebody away from Mac Rumors who has suggested my phone or many of the males I know have a feminine coloured phone.

I have a Spigen Slim Armor Silver case on mine currently and can thoroughly recommend :)

So what you are really saying is, if Apple wanted to sell more products, they would but they prefer better the illusion of a desirable product and high demand rather just selling it as many as they can?? From a business perspective, does this really make any sense? I think it's safe to say that iPhone is the most popular phone and the demand for it is higher then any single other phone on the planet. Now why would Apple want to make it look even more desirable by limiting the supply and not take the opportunity and sell as many as they can??

You are so full of it...scary.

I'm sure I'm going against what are most likely MINUTES of marketing experience, but let me explain something to you in very simple terms:

Limiting demand of an object that is already in great demand only serves to UPSET possible customers and drive them to competitors.

The only time production is limited is POSSIBLY when new due to manufacturing constraints of new components OR in some cases, when a product is so revolutionary, the supplier has no way to gauge it's true demand ahead of schedule...this is not the case with an Apple iPhone.

Apple creates a nearly brand new phone design every two years and it is quite clear from the leaks on here that they struggle like all other manufacturers to prepare production lines to make as many of these products on time and as quickly as possible. They have to, because they are already working on designing and figuring out how to make the next one. I'm constantly amazed they can make as many as they do!

As others have clearly stated, you are wrong and there is plenty of proof (and common sense) why.

In case you need to hear everything twice, I'll say it again: Guys are free to choose girly colors for their phones and girls can choose guy colors. All is fine and dandy. It's just a color.

I understood fully what you said. I took issue with your use of the words 'girly' and 'masculine' to differentiate the colour options. They are not gender exclusive and I think you have repeatedly emphasised this point because you know how provocative it is. It is clear every time this is discussed that both black and white are popular with both genders. Just because you add at the end that 'everybody should choose what they like', it doesn't mean it is any less demeaning or condescending IMO.

Can you imagine them using white or gold coloured iPhones? ;)

Good one! No. I can not. They seem like the type of who would go for manly colors, but then, they are from a long time ago. Today, metrosexuals and other free-thinking males who choose girly colors will not be judged. Society is better for it, too. We should be accepting of such things, not condemning them.

Been the case with every iphone for me.
