Just got my midnight blue for my 6+ space gray.
At first I thought it was a tad too dark but when it catches certain lighting it looks amazing.

I really love the light form factor and how it adds little to no bulk but has a great grip from the slippery naked feel.

Will be interested to see how it holds up and I am very intrigued by the olive brown combo with space gray if this doesnt work out well.

I love the Leather case but once it hits the ground it takes a beating. Mine just fell out of my shorts while jogging and the leather is chipped pretty badly now. Other than that I don't regret my purchase whatsoever.

Could you post a pic of the damage? Would be nice to see how bad it is.

Thanks :)

For that folks that have the brown leather for 2 months now, can you post pictures showing how it looks like?

I'll be getting a white iphone and I'm thorn between BLACK or BROWN leather case...

Here's mine after 2 months, note the weird bubbling effect on the last pic:

I do not regret my decision to purchase the leather case, I knew that it would age accordingly and obtain "character."

Do I regret it?

Not really. It hasn't held up as well as I'd have liked for a £40 case, but the intention was for it to only be temporary anyway until I could find a nice leather sleeve (still looking for a nice bright coloured one, does anyone own an Issentiel case? They look quite nice).

I'd probably get the silicon one if I were to go back in time but both are pretty nice cases in truth.

Hmm yours is wearing pretty well. Really like how the colors turned out.
Brown probably gives more character to it than the black.

Though whats up with the beveled forms in the back? How did that happened?

Did you mean the bubbled effect? If so, I honestly can't say; it could possibly be from moisture or just a manufacturing flaw present on my case. If you were referring to something else, I apologize for not addressing that.

yeah exactly that. So you wouldnt remember if it was there when you first took it out of the box?

The age on yours looks awesome!

Ahh, I see now--no, the bubbling was not first there out of the box. I noticed it about a month after using the case.

Thanks! It is kind of nice that the patina is patterned after my hand position on the phone. This is why I preferred the leather case over the silicone, to age nicely (but I did end up purchasing an Apple silicone case).

after using the psaj, the apple leather case felt bulky and heavy, and it has remained in the box ever since

I bought 2 of the black 6 plus cases just to get me by until otterbox became available and I didn't think leather could possibly work but I have to say I love them and they fit fantastic! I'm going to switch to the otterbox defender for the long run (lifestyle makes the defender a must for me) but I'm going to miss the Apple leather feel.

Has anyone used the soft pink version? I want to know how well that one ages. I had the red for my 5s and that started showing signs after a week.

At the moment it's a toss up between red and soft pink for mine. The pink seems very lightly coloured, so much so that you can barely tell its pink, but it'll no doubt get dirty really easily.

I bought the pink, not realizing it was pink. I'm a little color blind... It seemed nice, but I only used it for a a couple days. I wanted a colored one, but since they don't have that option I'll probably exchange mine for a midnight blue or red.

Im a little disappointed in Apples version. I bought a black and a blue "counterfeit" version of the case on ebay before buying the original, and the ones from ebay has alot better grip vs the original one, the buttons are not good enough on the ebay ones though so I couldnt stand it in the long run. Its just to bad on the leather on the blue apple one, I find it really slippery without any real texture, the black one I used with my 5S had alot better grip!

Wow I just noticed that blister effect on my black leather and than it went away but I changed it for the silicone , I think the silicone will hold up much better

I have the silicone and just can't get used to the texture of it. I always find myself switching to the leather case even though it ages faster over silicone.

Am for me, I love the texture and feel of the silicone. It gets kind of a slippery, slimy feel which sounds gross but I like it. And although you would think the grip wouldn't be good, it actually is and really holds still on any kind of surface.

I really do like leather for all my purses, shoes and boots. But I'm not crazy about aniline leather as I don't like the wear it develops.

My leather case appears to be bubbling? Is that normal or has it happened to anyone else?

I returned the first Apple leather case I bought for my iPhone 6 because of the large bubbles that formed on the back, mostly around the stamped Apple logo. It appeared that the leather was separating from the case shell. Many people say that it's caused by getting the cover wet...but I never had it close to water at all.

Kudos though to Apple Support, as I had a new case in my mailbox the day after I called and complained of the problem. As usual, Apple has great service.

I believe it's 30-days from purchase date.

Apple Support is on point! I called with complaint yesterday, CS rep emailed my refund slip, to my surprise I got replacement shipping confirmation email yesterday evening...and will have item on my desk later this afternoon! How's that? The service Apple gives & has always given me over the years is one reason I keep buying their products.

Did apple put a charge on your credit card until they got the old one back? Did they ask for the old one back? Did they need your receipt? Thanks

I've used the black leather Apple case on my iPhone 5, 5s & have used it on my 6 since day one. It is easily the best case I've ever used, is pretty damn tough...and looks sexy to boot.

I'm looking to upgrade to the iPhone 6s+, and have already bought another black leather Apple case for it in advance since they sold out so quick last year.

I have no regrets. But I learned one thing...they do NOT like water! (Ask me how I know...). That said, still best case ever!
