My 6+ battery is definitely better than the 5S. For my 5S, I got it charged overnight, unpluged around 7AM and at 4PM, it came down to 35% so I have to charge it to aboev 90%. When I got home, it got back to 30% as I have long commute and used my phone extensively during my time on the train.

For the 6+, when I got home it still has around 30% left for the same usage.

This is pretty amazing.

I seem to be getting about 1 day of battery, like everyone else.... Take it off the charger around 7:20AM and by 11PM I am at around 20%.

That being said, I am playing with the phone a lot, and have it 50-60% brightness, so once the new wears off and I touch it less often and more like my 5s, I suspect the battery will last longer.

I'm getting around a day and a half to two days out of my 6+. I haven't run it lower than 22% yet. Mostly using it on wifi and browsing. Very few phone calls or videos...yet...

I'm not a heavy power user (no games or movies), but I am continually using the phone throughout the day for usual stuff - play local music, streaming music or radio, twitter/facebook/flipboard, web, banks & stocks, etc. I'm having to throw the phone on the charger about every 36 hours right now. I imagine I'll get further past 36 hours once the newness wears off because I'm still playing with the phone a lot more than usual.

It seems very consistent with what I got from my Note 3. A little better than what I got with my LG G3.

I'm getting a little nervous about my 6 plus battery. The first few days were great, but it seems every day it has less and less usage time.
At first I was getting about 10 hrs of usage with 15% battery left. After a week it was 7.5 hrs usage at 15%. Now at a week and a few days, and I'm at 4.5 hrs usage at 34% currently. The first few days I was at 5 hrs usage at 50% battery.
I haven't really changed anything, signal strength has been consistent throughout this time.
I thought the battery would get a little better after a weeks worth of cycles, not worse.

My plus battery is phenomenal compared to my old ip5. Unhooked at 6am. It's 939pm have 7 hours useage and at 44 percent. I would have had two charges with my ip5 by now

Did you turn off background app refresh? Settings-General-Background App Refresh. You can turn it off completely or turn off the apps that you're not really using as they may be draining the battery a lot more. I've turned off background app refresh completely and my battery life is increased dramatically. I do the same for my iPad.

My battery life drastically improved after the first few days. My 5s used to be at 68% by 10 am after being unplugged around 7. Now, in that span, in at 92-85%. Been off the charger since six am and I'm at 32%.

Yes, app refresh is all the way off.

Meh my battery life is about the same as my 5s. Not really impressed. Judging from the screenshots on here though I might have gotten stuck with a funky battery but I'll stick it out.

Yeah you're right, 4.5 hours of streaming Pandora over LTE doesn't use the battery at all.

Reading through here I concluded that the spazm guy you were talking with is either super weird or really rude or most likely both. I wouldn't bother with him.

I'm extremely happy with the battery life. No clunky mophie cases, or carrying a chord around because in nervous I'll need a charge.

My regular notifications on, 6 email accounts on push with background refresh on. I am rarely on wifi and travel up and down the lovely corrupt state of Illinois. Brightness is on 70% because I love to actually see my display! :D

Just posted this in another thread but I will repost it here as well

Just managed to pull 12 hours of usage this time. What I changed from how I've used my phone going back to the 5S is, turned off push email and went back to manual, turned off all push notifications except for phone and text messages (previously only used it for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and snapchat), and lowered brightness down from 80% to around 40%. I also keep background app refresh off and location services are only on for apple/Google maps, tinker per and Siri and are only set to be in use if the app is open.

These tweaks definitely made a difference as before I was getting 7-9 hours on average. Yesterday when I was still at 100% and 15 minutes of usage I went for a 45 minute walk with runkeeper active and using gps and streaming a podcast over lte through my Bluetooth headset. When I got home the battery was still at 100%. Same thing today, left house at 28% and came back 40 minutes later at 25% though it stayed at 28 the majority of the time. It good to see GPS isn't being a drain so far.

I'll probably keep everything the way it is for now just to see if everything stays consistent as far as usage times. I expect if I get longer standby that usage may decrease slightly but still better than what I started out with.

As you see I did a lot of YouTube video and streaming probably 3 hours or so of podcasts with the screen off. Also did some light to moderate gaming and some texting along with social media and a single phone call. I may activate push notifications again in a week or two to see if that was causing any noticeable drain. Probably not since Saturday night I didn't lose a single percent in 7 hours though emails and Facebook messages came in a lot. Last night with all that off again not a single percent lost.

I've never been a complainer of iPhone battery except when I had the 3GS and AT&T had poor signal in my area. Always used to 4-5 hours of usage over a day and a half of standby so with the 6 plus it's way more than I could ask for. Couldn't be happier at this point.

This is pretty amazing.
Woah! How did you manage that? And I thought my hour and 15 minutes or so of usage at 100% was impressive even though it was just streaming audio with the screen off.

Are people really calling people out for how they use their phones now? The thread was about battery life in general, not "battery life according to kovey" Should there be a separate thread where people follow your exact guidelines for battery use? Not everyone's "real world" battery life is going to be the same.

Bc it's misleading. battery usage isn't the same across the board it depends on several factors. Posting up insane battery life without detailing it isn't telling the full picture. Plus, he cropped it right above where it says iPhone has been plugged it since last charge....Ive see a lot of people try to make it appear that they are getting the best battery life. His didn't say this, but it could have since he cropped it.

The screen was off there "champ". So not as bad as you're making it sound

Amazing battery life

Here's a screenshot of mine just now.....unplugged for 18 hrs ago

From 100% yesterday morning, has nearly lasted 36 hours of my normal usage pattern. Very good results!

Mix of wifi and 4g, background app refresh on for my core apps, location set to only when app is in use for core apps only.
