The best part is there were more rumors on the 6 vs the PLUS. People getting upset and becoming shocked is honestly surprising. If they keep up with this website like me, as most of us know we only got a few articles on the 5.5 inch iphone. More rumors were pointing towards the 6 being unveiled this past keynote. The majority of talk wasn't based on the bigger iphone. Quite frankly it was a shock to me that they announced both this month.

Yep. Until just before the keynote, analysts still speculated that Apple would hold the 6 Plus back longer due to the low production yields.

Now people complain that Apple decided to launch it despite the low production yields. Perhaps they should have released it a month later, then the whining volume in this forum would have been significantly lower. But on the other hand, people like me would not have an iPhone 6 Plus tomorrow, just because Apple wanted to shut up a few whiners.

Did they check with Apple retail stores? NO, so what a bogus story, this is old news that non-Apple stores were going to be in short supply.

"We just spoke with multiple sources at carrier stores and authorized Apple retailer partner locations..."

Yeah, I'm sure the Apple stores will be much better stocked. Although as a basic point, I have no doubt the Plus is going to be harder to get then the regular 6, like we saw in the pre orders.

Yeah, I'm debating if I should do that. What I'd like to do is use it for a bit, and if I decide I'd prefer the 6 then sell my 6+, but I wonder how much value I'd lose by opening the box...

My advice is to not open it and sale it for big bucks. It's really not that serious. It's just a larger iPhone. It's not like a new never seen before product. Once people realize that in store stock will be available in a few days/weeks.

Gotta open it if it comes with a SIM preinstalled.

I'd rather take in the whining and still be able to receive my PLUS in hand tomorrow as well. It's only natural that there will be a limited amount of stock especially since before the apple site went up most of the PLUS models were already slipping in shipment dates. That's not to say I don't feel for the people on here and around the world that probably won't be getting one. I'd probably be having a mini fit myself to be honest. But just like anything else people will lose interest in it and grow bored it's what makes us as humans wanting.

Demand exceeding supply. How many other electronics manufactures do you think would love to have this 'problem'.

Hint: All the ones who produce products with an on/off button.

sounds like apple been really lazy if that was the case...imo i know they intentionally didn't produce much just so they can watch these mad cow disease go wild in apple store. Apple knows how many they need to produce..but didn't feel like it.

My 6+ will be waiting at my doorstep tomorrow.....he didn't say EVERYONE who wanted one would get it on the 19th....

People need to grow up.

I was 7th in line last year and wanted a 32GB white/gold 5S. Guess what - no luck....AT AN APPLE STORE.

I bought a space gray and have loved it. This year I'll be trying out the gold. If you don't want to wait, get a different color. If you want it that bad, learn some patience.

Mr. Cook completely underestimated the demand for the iPhones once again. FAIL

What did they have at your store?

My store had 1 gold and 8 white/silver

Called a few sprint stores in my area for my buddy and they all said they are not getting any iPhone 6+ to sell and they are backordered nationwide. For what it is worth.

My Apple Store

So my store's manager says they no NOTHING of stock; (liesssss alllll lies) although that could be true if the shipment won't come in until tonight! They said the line will start forming at 9; I'm going to go at like 5:30 and begin my campout to be one of the first; I PRAY they have a 64 / 128 White Silver or Space Grey....the Gold is FUGLY! Which is ironic because EVERYONE loved the gold last year... all about the form factor I suppose. Now I'm surprised that I'm going to wait in line that long as I've never done that and I've been with Apple since iPhone 4... so should be an experience for sure. Taking some food; games; etc...

The more I realize how many stores won't have the PLUS the more it makes me accept my decision of ordering that model. It's as if all the hype makes me feel different and gets me even more excited. Trust me I've had some second guessing going through my head because I just received some cases and my god is this a huge phone. At least I don't have an iPad mini like some.

nobody deserves to wait long line...they should get it at their desire model without having luck to intervene this situation. Stupid apple...making people wait in line...

I agree. I really wish that upon coming back to Apple in 1997 that Steve Jobs had spent more time and resources building an online store in which customers could order the products that they want and have it shipped directly to them.

Also, Apple could implement some type of pre-ordering system for these launches. Imagine how cool it would be if you could go online and simply tell them which one you want. You could then pick it up in the store or have it shipped right to your doorstep.

I think we're onto something here. Lets send a letter to Tim Cook.

Serious question: What are the odds of being scammed if I try to sell my 128GB Plus online? What is the best website to sell it on? These things are starting to go for a lot of money. I could just use my wife's upgrade because she doesn't want a bigger iPhone anyway, but I'd have to keep waiting which isn't good since I already traded in my 64GB 5 on Amazon for $340.

There is no iPhone 6 Plus.

The most ironic thing about 1080p (the user who kept saying that) is that the Plus turned out to be 1080p. Makes me want to believe the whole thing was an inside job.
