You remind me of my grandfather who insisted that no one needed a heater in their car in Orlando Florida. He wanted manufacturers to make a model without the useless heater instead of making him buy a car with a function he insisted nobody needed.
But I'm guessing they were all out of rose gold? That color really appeals for some reason, and I'm sure it was one of the many factors generating these sales.
I understand what you're saying. When they started selling computers with mice I was against it. Anyone who can't type a command on their computer screen was too dumb to use a computer, I told them. Nobody listened to me and look what happened, everybody using computers all over the place. All of them too lazy to type in a command.
Your sig says "27" Retina iMac" Isn't the non-retina 27" iMac already higher than 1080/1K and far less than 70"?
But yeah, a 4K screen on a phone is ridiculous, but Apple will do it eventually.
Trolls are not "disagreeing", they are just starting arguments. He should be banned for trolling. 3D touch isn't a big deal for me, I don't care if he or anyone else really didn't like that new feature.

Man, Apple is such a freakin juggernaut. Such an incremental hardware upgrade, yet they still break sales records. I'm a victim myself, upgraded my 6+ to a 6s+ for no apparent good reason other than to waste money, lol.
I never said I agree with him and I don't think anything specific that he said should get him banned. Trolling should mean immediate banning, there is a difference. Good day, Sir!
you know 4K is to record... most show their pictures and videos in other devices. If it was exclusively 4K playing then you might have a point...
power is not a gimmick btw. 3d touch so far in its implementation is...

I don't think so, I think once it has been shipped or paid for in a store it has been sold. All 13 million can still be returned at this point since everyone is in the return window, but they have been sold as of now.
I agree. The 6 is a great phone and a premium product. The 6S is an improved product, but next year the 7 will be. My first iPhone was the 5 and it really did everything that I need, but I love the upgrades. I paid full price for my 6S last year and only upgraded this year because I was eligible on my Verizon contract.
really... we got subsidized from carriers previously. that is the reason why I upgrade every two years. without subsidizing, I would keep my phone longer, like my ipad. my situation should not be applied to general public but ipad sales dipping the last two years would tell you the story.
I think the A9 would still out class the A8 in raw performance tasks regardless of memory. That's what raw processor benchmarks measure.
Also, is there a legitimate need or reason for 1 GB of RAM aside from a number that somehow makes you feel more superior to your peers? If you were this concerned with 1 GB, then why did you buy one? So now you aren't going to "support Apple" because they did what you wanted them to do a year ago? I think you may need to stop deflecting blame for your own purchasing decisions and be committed and satisfied with what you have right now. That's where true happiness comes from. There's always going to be something better. In life, love and technology. Learn to be satisfied in each moment. Live without regrets. If you really can't seem to do that without 2 GB of RAM, for crying out loud sell your phone and get a new one... or wait a year for something even better. But please, whatever you do... realize that technology is a rat race and one that you will never truly win. Enjoy the journey.
I think you'll find most if not all stocks are down today. Amazon is down 4.19% right now.
Surprising. I thought plenty of people would be content enough with the 6, although I did upgrade my 6 Plus to the 6s Plus, but I upgrade every year regardless. Maybe these are mostly 5s users coming off their 2 year contracts?
maybe.. that's the boat i'm in at least.
two other people i know with 6s are coming from flip phones that they've been using for the past couple of months due to one lost 6 and one shattered-beyond-repair 6plus.. the only other person i know personally with a 6s bought it outright while still owning a 6.

coming from a 2year old 5s... TouchID is awesome now in comparison and so is battery life.. these are the most noticeable improvements for me so far. (and applePay)
