So my MB 7+ was successfully delivered to the store today. I called my store before the deliver looking to see if there was any update on my wife's missing Rose gold. Told me that they e-mailed a higher up and never heard back. Manager claims they are trying to see what they can do to get the phone back to avoid placing a new order for the phone. I told them that it was utterly insane that a phone I pre-ordered on 9/9 would now not be delivered until November. I felt bad because the guy was very understanding and totally understood they ****ed up but I told him that at this point im thinking of cancelling the orders and letting my lease run out.

I am waiting for them to call me and tell me they have my phone...I cant wait to go in store and see what these guys have to say as a solution.

I spoke with a rep last night for us holding out for jet black like I (JB+ 128g) I have a ship date of 10/7 and I hate the be the barer of badnews but he said expect it to actually ship 10/27. Pulling my hair out over here because I'm seeing people on other carriers actually getting them earlier....

I'm sure alcohol sales at the bars and liquor stores near the Sprint call centers have spiked recently. Imagine waking up to go to work every day knowing that so many of the calls that you're taking, people are going to be (rightfully) pissed off about this fiasco. I feel bad for those reps because they're in a pretty tough situation. But much like a situation that ArtyS described a few pages back, hopefully everyone remembers to direct their hostility at the correct people. :)
ArtyS was very correct in that the e-mails and complaints should be well constructed and worded e-mails. I work in upper management of a customer service based organization. You will never please everyone. However, if I was to find out one of my people were lying to customers or giving them false hope...there would be consequences the employee would face. Things always happen beyond the company's control; however, most customers will not fly off the handle if the company is honest, transparent, and up front about the situation. A small token of compensation, as a show of faith, never hurts either. Sprint may not be able to control how Apple is distributing their product, but keeping customers in the dark and (worst of all) lying to the customers is NEVER acceptable.

Oh my god... I just got this-

"iPhone 7 is in huge demand and this is that time of the year where everyone wants to get their hands on the device. I know you are very keen to get your device and Sprint is trying hard to deliver the phone at your doorsteps. The phones are generally backorder because of the less supply from the manufacturer. Sprint is a service provider and not manufacturer."

My wording changed too. But if you go to sprint.com/myorder atleast it still had the same date for the 7 Plus 128 gb Rose Gold I ordered. I sure hope they don't expect us to start paying for them on our installment plans before we even get them.

Has anyone else seen this on their order page? It didn't say that this morning.

...because stating the obvious and insulting customers' intelligence always builds consumer confidence.

So, if Sprint was a child, and the customer was the parent; parent questions the child about an apple the parent gave the child money to pick up from the farmer. When the child fails to give the parent the apple; the parent asks the child where is the apple. The child says, "I don't know." The parent asks, "Well, then where is the money I gave you for the apple?" The child responds with, "I don't know." The parent asks the child, "When will I get my apple?" The child says, "When the famer is able to give me an apple to give you." The parent asks the child, "So you're telling me there are no more apples, and you don't know where my money is?" The child responds with, "Correct. But, don't worry about the money. You will receive your apple. You have to remember, I am a child and not a farmer."

Most kids would be in trouble for back talking their parents in the above example. In this case, Sprint is being the spoiled, self-entitled child that no one likes to be around. I think sprint should be grounded with no TV for a month!

Ordered: iPhone 7plus BLACK 128gb
Date Ordered: September 10
Plan: Sprint IPHONE forever

I've been checking the order status page every couple hours, and the verbiage just changed on that page.

Previously, as it's been shared in this forum, there were specific dates and timelines in the original verbiage that stated when it should ship by.

Now, it states the following:

Any guesses what's going on?

Yeah. Sprint asked for more stock, and Apple said, "Get bent."

WOW ... went from kissing a** don't not giving a f**k anymore

So, the saga continues...

We called the Sprint store today and they're now quoting October 19-26 for the 4 phones we ordered (32G, 32RG, 32MB+, 128MB+) right after they opened on the 9th.

After hearing that, we decided to call Sprint's order support to see if we could get an order number and were told that an order was NEVER placed. Seriously?!?!?

Time to go visit the store manager to see if that's true and why we were lied to about the order all this time...

I'm starting to wonder if any other carriers can match the price we're paying with Sprint, because I'm about sick of them...this month especially...
