There is light at the end of the tunnel guys ! I just spoke with a customer service rep and my phone is in the warehouse being prepared for shipping! RG 32 7+ .

Yeah, Unless you have a tracking number and it's been marked as shipped, I wouldn't put any faith in what they told you. All of our orders are being prepared for shipment. That means your order has been received at the warehouse. Now they are just waiting for all of our devices to arrive to ship them out.

For those of you who ordered on 9/10 and expect shipping by 9/30, I'd call Sprint right now to confirm the date. You're probably going to end up giving them hell. Make sure that you ask them to take down a callback number in the likelihood that you get disconnected (as did I).

I just got off the phone with Sprint. OUTRAGED.

First, a little background:

Order: iPhone 7 Plus 128gb BLACK
Order Date/Time:9/10 at 10am
Sprint Plan: On the Sprint iPhone Forever Plan.
How did I Order?: Ordered via a live representative over the phone.
Order Location: Los Angeles, CA

The representative I just spoke with said that my iPhone won't ship until NOVEMBER 30TH due to a huge back order. I told him that's not what the website says, especially since I ordered before 9/13. He said it's not Sprint's fault, but Apple's. I told him that's complete bs, as I did not order from Apple, I ordered from sprint. Yes, it's an Apple device and they are short, however, sprint should not make false promises and blatantly lie about shipping dates just to make a sale. I understand, yeah, it's just a phone. But guess what, I paid for it based on not just factors including how amazing the phone is, but the expected delivery date. Was transferred again, and now this last representative said to wait until September 30th. She said if I don't receive tracking by that day, to call back and find out what's going on.

I agree. Part of it may be Apples fault, but Sprint also is selling everyone short by selling people wrong information. I understand dates sometimes change, But if you sold me on a September 30th date, and you can't keep to that, for whatever reason, don't blame them. Own up that you can't keep your order conditions and offer something up. That's terrible CS.

For people who have their phones, how long after the "worth the wait" email did you receive tracking info?

I just got the email about 5 minutes ago but reps in the store Sunday told me November for delivery. I ordered a JB 128 7+ on 9/9 around 2 pm in store. My wife ordered a RG 128 7+ at the same time and received it over a week ago.

Some have received there phone a couple days after, some still haven't had any movement. I received the email Friday and am still in limbo... Im sure there is no correlation between the time you receive the email and when your phone ships. It's just Sprint letting customers know that as inventory comes in, phones will ship.

I received that email yesterday around 3:30pm and still no tracking number.
 
Alright. Just got off the phone with sprint customer service. I ordered the JB Iphone 7+ 128 GB on 9/9 at around 11 am est. On sprints my order site, they show anyone who ordered when I did the ship date is around mid novemeber. However, the lady I was just on the phone with told me it will either be delivered or shipped by october 7th. If she's not lieing to make this sound better, we are in good hope!

Don't count on it. It's been proven they will tell you whatever you want to hear to be done with you. They know nothing more than what we see on the myOrder page. Most of the time they will just copy and paste the same information.

Did they order one of the readily available colors from the 7 line up, or was it a Plus model? The Matte Black and Jet Black are the more "rare" models shipping in both size variants.

so i ordered 9/10 at 6:00PM, the iphone 7+ 32 matte black, a friend of mine ordered his 20 mins after me when i told him to preorder, same phone, and his came in the mail on 9/20....WTF, also does anyones else say your order or a portion of your order is in backorder status?

Yeah, mine says the same thing. Ordered on the same day. I know others have received the iPhone even though they ordered long after I did. Sprint is messing up bad. They're blaming Apple instead of taking any responsibility. The whole bit about them sending out phones in a first come-first serve basis is complete bs.

Mine has been saying that since we placed the order. My mom got a 128GB JB 7 Plus. I just figured it was hers. At least I hope it is.

That's for the RMA kit, which they're all listed as backorder until the phones ship.
