I preordered 9/17 iPhone 7+ gold 256gb and it was suppose to be here Friday 9/30.
Now after calling and waiting 40+ min on hold they are saying it should arrive 2-5 business days after the initial delivery date.
There excuse is they didn't receive their iPhones in time..
At least update your wait time so people know what's going on.
Not good Sprint...

I don't understand why so many of you care so much about the phone arriving as soon as possible. This happens every year. Demand is much higher than supply. Especially for a plus model and especially for a special color. It's really not that big of a deal. Pretty sure your current phone works perfectly fine. Your order will arrive. Just wait. This thread is pointless

This rep said my phone is back ordered transfers me to an order specialist that never picked up. I sat on hold for an hour before giving up. I think I'm going to just cancel my order if I don't get tracking Friday. This is absurd

In my case getting tracking meant absolutely nothing. Got tracking on Sat no movement whatsoever. Been on Sprints ass for 3 days.

My jet black 128GB 7 has officially been delivered to the Sprint store. I am picking it up in a few hours. I am still waiting on my Mom's Silver 128GB 7 Plus (ordered on 9/14). I actually haven't seen anyone talk about the Silver Plus model on this thread in awhile. No tracking or updated status whatsoever. I'll post if anything changes.

Shipped email from Sprint on 9/27 @ 5:30pm (UPS next day air saver)

And now I wait...

Will follow up if it actually arrives today.

After being on the Phone with Sprint this morning and not getting satisfaction.

I emailed Marci Carris with my problem.
I just got off the phone with a guy from her office and magically my shipment has movement and is in transit and schedule to be picked up at UPS whenever I get notified.

For some reason, i hadnt taken the time to read this dumb sh*t, but since you are asking for it...

#1 - You're an idiot. If you "don't understand why so many if [us] care so much about the phone arriving as soon as possible", reread the last 218 pages. The info is right under your nose.

#2 - For a lot of us, this is our first upgrade with Sprint, and were not aware that this "happens every year". Especially when we were told by Sprint, that our devices would arrive on launch day, before placing our orders.

#3 - If demand is consistently higher than supply, are we wrong for expecting improvement? Again, you're an idiot.

#4 - My phone does not work fine. Screen was shattered mid-July, and I chose to wait it out. Did no one ever tell you what happens when you make ASSumptions? I want my ******* phone, period. You shut your mouth when you're talking to me.

#5 - I was promised a date, and for some reason, you and those goons over at Sprint contend that it's decent business. Even though, my device's arrival date was confirmed with them before placing my order. Stupid.

Finally, if you feel that this thread is so pointless, why are you actively choosing to spend time doing something that you deem pointless? Because YOU'RE AN IDIOT - thats why.

Perhaps you should go back to the beginning and read every response.

I may have got my phone, but still remember the frustration and aggravation of being told one thing, then a different thing altogether.

There's more in this thread than waiting. While you may have had a pleasant experience with Sprint I would be happy to list 15+ years of missteps.

Glad you got your phone, but respect the circumstances and frustrations displayed here, and that they are not just about waiting.

I appreciate it... As of this very minute I have yet to receive any shipping information.

I have also played "nice" with Sprint throughout the entire process. I have reached out a couple of times over the last two weeks via Twitter simply asking for any details they could provide.

Today I decided to email Joan T. Subelka (Sr. Analyst II - Escalations) you can also reach her at joan.t.subelka@sprint.com

Basically, I let them know that I have been a loyal Sprint customer for 16 years, participated in the pre-order process and that I expect some movement very soon considering my "ship by" date is only 2 days away.

Of course I have not received a reply and more than likely won't. I guess the one thing that kind of pisses me off is the fact that they (Sprint) had no issues taking almost $400 out of my bank account for interest and $100 down payment per IPhone as quickly as the bank opened that following Monday from pre-order but yet, I still don't have a product in my hand.
 
I wonder what these folks in the Sprint warehouse are doing.
After 5 days it took contacting corporate office to get my shipment moving.
