Curious if anyone who ordered in store and got their phone already can answer this? Did you receive the tracking number or anything like that or did it just show up at the store and they called you?
You can't count on the store to call lol. A friend of mine had preordered regular 7, rose gold, it went to the store on launch date she never got the call but checked the my order page and the tracking number was there saying it got delivered and that's how she had known it got there. Sprint is playing games with our phones though. They knew new colors would mean people would opt for those instead of the same old colors every year, this year has been a joke. People that pre ordered after the deadline revieved their phone before the ones that ordered before deadline and now we delayed, so we pre ordered to be delayed basically, but now I know pre order from Apple Store next time because they make sure they get their stock by promised times lol.

Ok folks here's my update
I get a call this morning from Marci's team. They say UPS lost my phone.
So they are going to cancel my original order and send out a new phone to be delivered on Saturday. 7P 256 Matte Black.
Finally they admitted there was a problem and that the phone went missing.

Meanwhile sprint is telling us they don't have any left, Apple stores near me have the matte black 32 GB + I'm still waiting until the 4th for? Wtf lol why can't I just go to Apple Store and show them my pre order and pick it up for sprint.

Apple stores don't always have the stock we want. Most stores by now have a good stock by morning, especially the smaller 7 model, with more so less of the 7 Plus. But by evening, unless your reserved one, they are empty as well. And I've yet to see a store have a 7 Plus JB in stock, or even a display model at that. Apple on their website are very vague about the shipping times. "1-2 weeks", "2-3 weeks" or "November". I think they don't get specific with dates so they don't have people complaining that they aren't keeping to their delivery promise. When it's labeled as shipping in "November", who can complain when they phone isn't delivered by November 10th?

This is definitely true. My store got my phone and never called. If it wasn't for the Order Support email with tracking I would have never known the phone came in. When I asked why they never called they told me they hadn't "processed" shipments yet. UPS delivery confirmation came at 10:19 AM. I went to pick up my phone a little after 7 that evening.

All I could do was shake my head. Lol.

Yeah that is true if the date is right off the bat of 11/10 you know ahead of time what you are in for and can't be mad.

I'm supposed to be getting a call from someone on the executive team today.

We moved over to Sprint about 6 months ago under a "buy one get one" offer on iPhones, where they credit you back the lease payment every month on one of the iPhones when you buy 2. About 12 days into our service, one of the iPhones gave us issues and Sprint replaced the device for us as it was within our return/exchange period. I asked both the phone rep and the rep in store if this would impact the BOGO offer. I was told no. Well low and behold, I was reviewing my bill the other day and sure enough, they haven't been crediting me for the lease payment.

Then this whole pre-order debacle (which I don't blame Sprint entirely for) is just the icing on the cake. The Sprint reps have no clue what to tell us. I have been given 4 different dates, I even had a friend who ordered the same phone after me get theirs already (and then was told my friend was a liar who was trying to trick me by sprint chat agent).

If Apple isn't sending Sprint phones- ok then. But educate your reps so that they can convey facts to the customer so we can make an educated decision on what we want to do with our orders.

I was able to email marci at sprint and just now got off the phone with a rep regarding my iPhone 7+ JB 128gb ordered on 9/9 at 6:12 est. Gentleman on the phone started by trying to persuade me into canceling order and going through best buy for a faster outcome. Next I proceeded to tell him its not about how fast I receive the phone as I am more concerned I will be out of town at the end of next week when it is expected to arrive. He finally understood and put me on hold to see if there was any possible way he could make things right. He said I would have a tracking number tonight with a saturday delivery. I guess kindness on the phone can get you somewhere after all!

Hopefully I will have a similar outcome! I agree - I think you get more by being nice.

Transferring everything over to the new phone was easy took about 20 minutes,so hopefully you'll have your phone up and ready before heading out to class. Upgraded from a 6plus to 7pluse 32g mb,new phone noticeably way way faster

I'm expecting to receive both Iphones today. I have honestly never had to swap info using Itunes so I have to ask... Is there some instructions to do this or did you simply google the information?

Absolutely man. I emailed Marci and was extremely nice about the overall experience I was having with the pre-order process.

She was the one who emailed me directly last night with the confirmation and tracking of my order. So far, everything is moving along and I should have both phones by no later than 5PM today. I'm excited to get my hands on the 7+.

Are you guys using your normal email to contact Marci?

I wish you could live track the UPS truck lol. Got my confirmed delivery for 11:30am-1:30pm. It's 12:10 where I am. So close but yet so far away :D. Anytime now

I e-mailed Marci Carris this morning to let her know about my disappointing experience as a new customer and delays and misinformation...got a call back from one of her managers an hour later...she could not give me any additional information haha...now it's just getting funny...oh well...
Depending on what color/storage you want, you may want to look into Best Buy.

I'm getting the the 256gb 7p MB delivered to me on Tuesday.

Sorry it took long to respond. I logged on to my sprint and after logging in on the my sprint full site not my mobile sprint. On the left hand press on support and it should say swap devices and from there on out it will explain step by step. So you basically will use your old device to activate your new device. I didn't swap sims, I was able to use the sim that came with the new phone.

No worries man. Thanks for the info.

Historically I either purchased my phone in store or at a Best Buy and they would always activate the new phone and swap the photos, contacts, and so on for me.

This will be my first rodeo trying to do it all myself so I'm hoping it's not too painful, especially after the whole pre-order process.

It was a lot easier then I thought also. Don't forget to backup on iCloud first. Turn your new phone on follow steps. Sign in with your iCloud account. You're old phone will ask a few confirmation questions

it was my first time also. Was a lot easier then I anticipated. No worries, don't forget to backup your iCloud Account before transferring data. Before you start your new phone process it's going to ask if you want to use your sim or the sim the new phone came with. I used the new sim it came with
