So I reached out to Sprint chat to ask about any delays since I never received an email about it. The rep told me if I cancel I can only have my account credited instead of a refund on my card. I'm pissed now.
 
I was able to email marci at sprint and just now got off the phone with a rep regarding my iPhone 7+ JB 128gb ordered on 9/9 at 6:12 est. Gentleman on the phone started by trying to persuade me into canceling order and going through best buy for a faster outcome. Next I proceeded to tell him its not about how fast I receive the phone as I am more concerned I will be out of town at the end of next week when it is expected to arrive. He finally understood and put me on hold to see if there was any possible way he could make things right. He said I would have a tracking number tonight with a saturday delivery. I guess kindness on the phone can get you somewhere after all!

Stunts like this make me wonder, if they are able to do this for certain people, do they not have stock sitting around?

The T-Mobile thread everyone is getting shipping info on there Matte blacks and even Jet blacks! People with delivery estimates of November! Apple is definitely playing favoritism

I see a lot of people ranting about being charged for their order, but I don't see a lot of people getting actual shipping information. Maybe I missed it. Most people have been charged here also but doesn't mean it's shipping.
 
Depending on what color/storage you want, you may want to look into Best Buy.

I'm getting the the 256gb 7p MB delivered to me on Tuesday.

So when you order they give you the delivery date? And is there still the lease option or is it pay in full?

You can choose lease/installment or pay full price

Delivery date depends on the phone you get. Originally, i ordered the 128gb MB 7p from Sprint but those were on 2-3 weeks backordered on BestBuy so I went up in storage (256gb). I'm paying $17 for 2 day shipping so I'll get it on Tuesday. 1 day shipping $34 and free shipping (5 business days) were also available.
 
Ok folks here's my update
I get a call this morning from Marci's team. They say UPS lost my phone.
So they are going to cancel my original order and send out a new phone to be delivered on Saturday. 7P 256 Matte Black.
Finally they admitted there was a problem and that the phone went missing.
How did u contact Marci? Using a regular email?
 
I had a preorder that I placed on the 15th for a 32gb silver plus. I wanted a mb but the shipping for those were supposed to take longer. It was supposed to be delivered between the 23rd and the 30th. Right before Sprint pushed back the date I was able to find a 32gb gold plus at a local Apple store. I cancelled my order and purchased that one on Sprint's installments about a week ago.

Yesterday out of curiosity I checked the reservation site and found that the Apple Store had a 32gb mb plus. I was able to reserve it, return the gold phone, and purchase the mb one still under Sprint installments. I am l loving the mb one. If you are still waiting on a preorder, the reservation site for Apple is still worth a try

So I have bad news, but at least it is some news.

I just got off of the phone with the escalations rep that i have been dealing with, who is actually very helpful and honest. He told me that i was lied to about my phones being in the warehouse, and that the black 128 plus is still on backorder and will not be shipped until the 10 at the earliest. He said what we have expected all along, that the reps are at the mercy of sprint, that they know nothing more than what we see on the myorder page, and that they have a time that they are allowed to devote to people on the phone or chat, once that time passes they are allowed to try to get them off the phone.

So, if you, like me, are looking for the rebate deal for turning in your old phone, you, like me, are boned. The only option we have is to wait or cancel. He told me that i could cancel and it would take an hour or 2 to show up on the account.

Now, we need to take the fight to Sprint as a company, together. Do we want to start a petition about the transparency of the process, about the misinformation willfully given to us, and encouraged by sprint? There is no reason for this type of treatment. If the phones are backordered, tell us they are backordered and let us make decisions based on that information. If you signed a contract under the belief, supplied by sprint, that your phone would arrive before now, tell them you want out of your contract under constructive fraud, collateral estoppel or detrimental reliance. Contracts are not enforceable if these elements are found.

Like others have said, we are not mad that are phones are taking forever, we are mad that we were told they wouldn't take forever, and have only been provided as little information as possible.

I think we all knew the reps have nothing more than what we already know from the myOrder page. But you're right. The difference is when they pretend to know more and give our false information just to get the customer off the phone/chat. And it backfires when what you're told isn't met and then another rep has to deal with the dishonesty provided by the previous person. It's a nasty vicious cycle.

I did see some jb 256 gb 7 +'s that were available for pickup today or ship by oct 7th

Most of the ship dates are estimates of the dates your phone will be shipped/delivered by. If they get them in earlier, they will ship earlier. Sprint or Verizon may get more in before best buy does and deliver it a full 1 or 2 weeks early while Best Buy is only able to deliver by 11/7-16th. It's a Gamble you take I guess.

So you're saying if Best Buy gets them in earlier than expected, they won't ship them

Funny how a few people complained and were able to get tracking. Sprint's gotta be playing games.
