Based on the the people who shared their i7+ 128GB order numbers then the timeline goes like this (PST):

803427XXX - 11:59A (Jwoodard)
803427XXX - 11:59A (negrohero9)
- Servers Down - Midnight to 1:20A -
803449XXX - 1:23A (hckykng19)
803450XXX - 1:24A (brancat92)
803451XXX - 1:25A (Urkel)
803452XXX - 1:28A (CrimsonKnight)
803452XXX - 1:29A (Urkel)
803453XXX - 1:35A (CrimsonKnight)

So 22,000 orders actually got through during that hour we thought the servers were down?

For me, I'm actually not that excited for a new phone. I'm just being impatient because my Sprint Bill is here and if I don't turn in my old phone I get charged a monthly installment for a device scheduled for replacement.

To be fair to Sprint, my order was 256GB. Still nothing.

Just talked to them via live chat. Apparently my phone is at the warehouse with an estimated shipping date of 9/16. I ordered an iP7 - Matte Black - 128GB. Hopefully they don't wait until the 16th to ship if it's already at the warehouse. Doesn't make sense for it to just sit there until then.

Mine is sitting in Louisville right now, and only needs to go 1.5 hours north to Indianapolis, so I wouldn't be surprised if mine doesn't move until Thursday night or maybe even Friday morning. I would guess that however far it needs to travel will dictate when it moves. Some iPhones may have already left Louisville.

It's pretty tantalizing knowing that it is so close. Wish I could just go pick it up now haha

Just talked to one of my friends who works at a Sprint (corporate) Store in a large mall here in NC. She said she only shows them only getting iPhone 7 32GB/128GB (Rose Gold/Black) and no 7+. So maybe those haven't been entered into Sprint's inventory yet. Just a thought, who knows. I wanted to share.

Any news on the Jet Black iPhone 7 (not +)?

I'd really be totally content if Sprint would just give us a realistic and honest timeline. They're being so vague and they're just stringing people along. If they'd just be more up front about the situation, then I wouldn't care.

I don't understand why we don't at least have our tracking numbers by now? Even if my schedule delivery date showed Monday, that's fine as long as I know.

Just got off with Sprint Chat. This looks promising for me and people who order the 7 Plus 32 GB Black. Small excerpt from the chat:

You: do you have any idea where my phones might be? In china still, in a warehouse somewhere?
Zach P.: I can only see here that our warehouse has already received the request for the shipping of you phones, however, since the phones has not yet arrived on the warehouse, your order is put on hold until the scheduled 16th. At this moment, though, the iPhone 7's are currently being reprogrammed to be compatible with the Sprint Postpaid Network so it will work out of the box.
You: ok, that sounds promising, I am hoping to receive them on the release date. is that a realistic possibility
Zach P.: Yes, the iPhone 7 32GB Black are scheduled to arrive on the 16th.
Zach P.: Is there anything else I can assist you with today?
You: you say iphone 7 is the the regular size or the plus?
Zach P.: I am sorry about that. That would be the iPhone 7 Plus.
You: wow, great thank you?
Zach P.: You're welcome!
Zach P.: The iPhone 7 or 7 Plus that are scheduled to arrive later than the 16th are the ones that has higher memory tiers (128GB and 256GB).

Yes!! Exactly. Just some consistent information that is the TRUTH

Kind of want to send an email to the sprint executive support office. I'm being told all different sorts of dates and they should have employees properly trained. Also the fact that it kind of seems like they don't have a single black or jet black iPhone 7 + seems preposterous. I can understand a backorder but they need to be a little more firm on their dates.

If anyone wants to email the email address is Marci.Carris@sprint.com . Let us know what you get back.

This seems silly. While I don't always trust what these reps say, he's saying that they aren't getting any shipments of higher memory tiers before the 16th? How does that make any sense?

It don't if there's any movement it would be tonight. If not then I could expect whenever. I wanted it on launch, but things might not work out that way for me this time.

Exactly. How can other carries give their customers higher memory 7+ at launch but not sprint? Doesn't make sense.

We have come to the conclusion that each Sprint employee will give you a different answer and clearly none of them know what in the world they are talking about. I have tested this theory. I have spoken with 7 reps since yesterday just to see and received 7 different answers regarding the same thing. Not even remotely close answers. I am done with talking to anyone and will just keep checking Sprint.com/myorder and hopefully my tracking number will show up. If not, maybe my phone will just show up. I ordered within the first hour or two Friday 9/9 so I can't think I am too far behind in getting my iPhones if at all. I got a RG 32GB Plus and a 128GB RG Plus.. Sprint employees clearly have no idea what they are talking about..

Just a hunch and maybe this is nothing...but for us who have overnight shipping, maybe we do not see any movement until tomorrow?

I'm probably wrong, but just a hunch.

I'm with you man... at this point I couldn't even begin to wonder how many calls the Sprint Reps are receiving in regards to shipping info. Let alone actual issues that might be popping up with other customers who didn't upgrade.

I'm hoping for the best but not expecting my phone to be shipped prior to the 30th which is what my sprint.com/myorder screen is telling me.

GUYS ITS JUST A PHONE. Lets all step back and realize you will eventually have it in your pocket and not think twice about it every time you use it. And also mine is confirmed for 9/16 delivery so I can always let you know how great it is to hold you over while you wait :p
It's not the wait that I care about...assuming the phone does come by 9/30 it would be way faster than the time my iPhone 6 took. I'm just mad that for some reason Sprint didn't seem to stock any higher capacity plus models for launch and that their reps can tell someone 8000 different things.

I think it is telling that all the reviews are being done with the Matte Black 7 plus and haven't seen one Jet Black Plus. There was simply not enough supply.

This sums it up for us pretty well I think.

Does anyone know why some have 2nd day and some have overnight? The tracking number I have says shipping today and del on Friday. My order confirmation says express overnight del.

I just received tracking numbers for an order I placed! I upgraded three phones at the same time, two phones upgraded to the 7 32gb Rose Gold, and the third upgraded to a Matte 7+. The tracking number is for both of the Rose Gold 7's, nothing yet on the 7+ (which is mine, of course :().

For me- and I'm sure for many others as well- it's about Sprint constantly bungling things. I am sick of it. Especially when I was told that this release would be smoother than all the others. If they would be honest and open about everything, it would be fine. But for some of us, waiting for a new device is a highlight. But being given ambiguous information left and right makes us wonder if we're going to make a payment on something we don't even have yet.
