Odds are they just read whatever your order status says.

Your probably 100% correct. I still don't expect anything on Fri. Although it would be nice considering my birthday is Saturday ;)

I ordered the 7+ 128gb Black on 9/9 at about 11am. I tried tracking it via order # on the UPS website and nothing showed up. My Sprint order page has tbe same msg as others "Your order for the iPhone 7 Plus Black 128GB has been received and will ship by 9/30 if ordered before 11AM CT on 9/13. Your order will ship by 10/19 if ordered after 11AM CT on 9/13. You may track the progress of your order at www.sprint.com/myorder. Additionally, keep an eye out for a shipping email with your tracking information. Thank you for your patience." When I called yesterday the representative told me since Sprint has such a shortage of the plus models it's very unlikely I'll get my phone this month.

Crazy

I kinda wish I hadn't pre-ordered. I've had better luck walking in on launch day.

For me- and I'm sure for many others as well- it's about Sprint constantly bungling things. I am sick of it. Especially when I was told that this release would be smoother than all the others. If they would be honest and open about everything, it would be fine. But for some of us, waiting for a new device is a highlight. But being given ambiguous information left and right makes us wonder if we're going to make a payment on something we don't even have yet.

Well, they already took money out of my bank account. You pay the taxes first anyways.

I've never had a carrier charge my card before they had the object they're shipping to me in their possession until now. I shouldn't be charged for an object they apparently don't yet have

Based on the the people who shared their i7+ 128GB order numbers then the timeline goes like this (PST):

803427XXX - 11:59A (Jwoodard)
803427XXX - 11:59A (negrohero9)
- Servers Down - Midnight to 1:20A -
803449XXX - 1:19A (Jeff Goldblum)
803449XXX - 1:23A (hckykng19)
803449XXX - 1:25A (cchunk)
803450XXX - 1:24A (brancat92)
803451XXX - 1:25A (Urkel)
803452XXX - 1:28A (CrimsonKnight)
803452XXX - 1:29A (Urkel)
803453XXX - 1:35A (CrimsonKnight)
803528XXX - 9:47A (bluedevils477)

So 22,000 orders actually got through during that hour we thought the servers were down?

For me, I'm actually not that excited for a new phone. I'm just being impatient because my Sprint Bill is here and if I don't turn in my old phone I get charged a monthly installment for a device scheduled for replacement.

You can add mine too. 803524XXX

I totally understand that, but as someone who has had AT&T(iphone 4 launch), T-Mobile(iphone 5S Launch), and Sprint for the 6+ and now the 7 launch let me tell you something.

EVERY carrier has the same exact problems. They are trying to handle a logistical nightmare, and truth be told CSRs dont really know much of anything on any carrier and are trying to say whatever it takes to make you happy without leading you on so you will hang up and they can go tell the same thing to the next 500 people. When the iphone first came out it was like 4 months after announcing it they had it actually launch, think about the scale of supplying the entire country(and many other parts of the globe) with a device in numerous color and storage configurations in just one weeks time.

Just accurately figuring out who will want what is an insane task let alone actually supplying enough devices to enough people.

Kind of want to send an email to the sprint executive support office. I'm being told all different sorts of dates and they should have employees properly trained. Also the fact that it kind of seems like they don't have a single black or jet black iPhone 7 + seems preposterous. I can understand a backorder but they need to be a little more firm on their dates.

If anyone wants to email the email address is Marci.Carris@sprint.com . Let us know what you get back.

Have you guys looked around at the other forums? Are the people who bought from Apple, VZW and the other carriers expecting high capacity 7+ Jet Black iPhones to be delivered on Friday?

I haven't noticed really any or many jet blacks but I have saw where other companies are shipping 7+ models and some will have them Friday. If other carriers can send out 7+ models then why can't sprint? I just feel like we all have no idea what is going on and not to any fault of our own but of all the crap Sprint has told us. Don't lie to us. Just say you aren't sure... BLAH!

Some of the early iPhone 7s that got shipping information were the Jet Black models bought from Apple.com.

I looked at the Verizon thread briefly and it seems some are getting shipping notices on the Plus in Black and some have not.

I paid the tax and $100 down per phone ($360 total) and it has cleared my account. Now, I ordered my phones via the telesales on 9/10 at 11PM CST but received my confirmations email with the order number and estimated date of shipping within a few minuets of completing the sale. I don't have a clue if that means I have a chance of receiving both phones on the 16th or sometime around the 30th.

I looked at the AT&T thread and many plus models have shipped and they are getting their notifications and also in various colors and sizes... there is just no way sprint is not shipping 1 plus model.. This is frustrating..

Here is my problem with that...

I've worked for a major logistics company and my wife is a senior efficiency analyst for the same company, and we both agree that this is the type of nightmarish trainwreck of inefficiency and poor planning that can cause a company to go under if allowed to continue for too long. You mention other carriers... look. My friends and I constantly pre-order devices, and each time, I am the butt of the jokes because they're up to date from Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T and Sprint just falls on its face each time. A friend of mine is the regional for AT&T and he loves this, because it drives in hordes of new customers. People who are rightfully fed up with a company that is so poor in its planning and execution of launches and promotions.

Sprint has had so many chances to get things right, and they've managed to keep from folding somehow. I honestly have no idea how, but they have. But they don't seem to learn from it. One thing I can tell you for sure is that this is the very last anything I get from Sprint. I've been with them for 16 years now. It used to be because it was cheaper, but that is no longer the case. The service is awful. Obviously, the hardware side of things is a living nightmare, and all they do is screw up. There is no reason that they should have been caught so off guard for this launch the way they seem to have been. There are countless numbers of other companies who are more than capable of handling much more complex and hectic programs. The habitual failure of Sprint in their abilities to adapt to changes market trends, customer demands, and forecasting accurate sales figures isn't because it's hard to do... it's because they're bad at what they do. And there is a very considerable difference between the two.

I am getting an iPhone 7 Plus 256gb and it says that it will ship on 9/23. Is there any chance that I could get it this Friday (First Day) or sooner than the 23rd?
