Carrier iPhone 7/7+ Sprint Pre-Order Thread

So I emailed Marci with what ended up being a rant instead of just a request for useful information. I guess 15+ years of anything but consistent service finally broke.

My reply so far is what you guys received. "Will have my people get back to you".

For me I think it's just the BS lack of transparency and laughable preorder expirence.

I have never bothered to preorder a device. I guess I should have read up on how it works. I expected to have to fight to get an order in, then be kept up to date once I succeeded. I didn't expect canned dates for each device right out of the gate. I bothered to get up at 3 am est because I believed there was a first serve type of thing going on. My mistake.

Never again.

just a heads up... I stopped by my local Best Buy after posting on here last night about the info the district manager gave me about 7 plus. I could've ordered a 256 Jet Black Plus and had it Friday... I didn't because I'm no longer available for an upgrade, so I'm assuming there's a device assigned to me?

Best Buy will not have any 7 Plus Jet Black models in Friday. They will not have any in till after October 7...and even then, they will not carry the 256GB model in store for any model or color. Even with the current 128GB model iphone 6s/ Plus, we normally don't carry it unless someone orders it. I think at my store, I've only seen 3 128GB model iphone 6s Plus at our store since they came out. We only sold one and shipped the other two to different stores,

When I called yesterday they said I won't have my phone until 11/11 even though I was there early on 9/9 and the stated the have the same dates as online and telesales but no information.

The message on sprints my order site has changed. Apparently if you ordered a 7 128GB today before 3PM CT, the phone ships out by 9/16. Gives me hope that mine will go out tomorrow. Does Sprint usually ship in first come first serve fashion or is it just a free for all?

I ordered in store for the third year but I haven't heard anything yet. I didn't get any tracking for the 6 but I did for the 6s plus. I was told each time I would get my phone on launch and I did. I was told the same thing this year. I'm not sure I'll get a tracking number this year as my order comes in with Sprint's inventory. Hopefully the same happens this year but if not it won't kill me. iOS 10 will hold me over for now.

I just checked my order status on my Rose Gold iP7+ 256gb
It states if it was ordered before the 13th, it would be shipped by the 23rd. If it was ordered after, it would be DELIVERED by 23-30th

UPDATE. I believe this is if you were to order right now. It's my feeling if you preordered very early, you'll get yours Friday.

Just got done speaking with an Order Specialist regarding the possibility of cancelling my preorder. He told me this was no longer an option at this point. The only good reason I can think that Sprint would have to decline my cancellation request would be if my order is already in some stage of the shipping process... Maybe that's wishful thinking and they're just being difficult, but I have hope.

Kind of want to send an email to the sprint executive support office. I'm being told all different sorts of dates and they should have employees properly trained. Also the fact that it kind of seems like they don't have a single black or jet black iPhone 7 + seems preposterous. I can understand a backorder but they need to be a little more firm on their dates.

I'm going BACK to black after years of white faces! I missed the illusion of the screen taking up the whole face.

I was in the same boat, but have been with the white face phones since the 5s. I almost went back this year to black, but at the last minute realized I really love the Gold.

I kinda regret it a bit, because the black face blends very nice. I think we just need to change it up so often.

I try to cancel my order around 10am on the 9th and they told me i couldnt cancel i would have to take back to the store when i get it.

Dude..i work for best buy...I read the email yesterday. People can come in and preorder the iPhone 7 Plus...but they will not be available for pick up till around October 7 or later..
