I'm starting to think that's showing on everyone's status.Hmmm. I'm only seeing this:

The "Your order or a portion of your order is in backorder status" under "Status" worries me.

Each product ID item has its own status message. That backorder message is for the return kit.
My order still shows 9/30 ship date. I have no insider information on Sprint's logistics, but my guess is that Sprint doesn't have any Plus models in Louisville yet. Barring any unforeseen customs issues in Anchorage, these models will arrive in Louisville sometime early next week, and the 9/30 ship dates will update to 9/16. This is what I keep telling myself anyway, lol.
I ordered a Plus (256GB Rose Gold) and my date is 9/23.
I have the 9/30 date as well and I ordered right when the site came up for upgrades. I hope your assumption is correct and that the date gets updated to 9/16 haha.Great! I'm talking about 9/30 ship dates.
Did anyone else get this email? Have not seen it anywhere other than in my mailbox lol
I didn't get that email. Although I ordered a 256GB Jet Black model and my status says it will ship by October 7 like the pic you posted, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I don't want to believe that sprint has not gotten ANY 256GB Jet Black models in when the rest of carriers did. I'm hoping that we'll receive our 256GB models a lot earlier and that Sprint just use the "Ship by Oct 7" as a placeholder sort of speak.Did anyone else get this email? I'm going to walk into a best buy store on release day and if they a 128GB or a 256GB model on hand (Which I doubt they will)...preferably jet black or black, I'm going to exchange this Note 7 for it and cancel my preorder.
So did anyone else receive that same email that "Doob3" posted? Not to say I don't believe your pic Doob3, but there has been other people on the forums..posting fake Photoshop order status etc...one posted already got called out on it.
This is the email I got, ordered at 2pm central today says shipping today? Is this an error. It doesn't say 2017 as someone previously said
I've heard a few stories from past years of people who had the Iphone 6/6s plus with estimated ship dates of late September and early October and they still received them on launch day. Are they being truthful? Who knows... But I am hoping out hope.Yea I'm thinking the same with this email that it's only for the return kit. I ordered 2 ip7 pulse models and only one had the return kit In the order. That order received this email. The other device without a return kit did not. Looks like 9/30 is looking like the actual ship dates.
This is exactly my situation and being with them for 16 years. Why would I give you my phone that is in perfect condition (used my AppleCare last week and got a new one) to only have to trade it in when I paid full asking price.

I had the same issue. I was on the phone with Sprint for hours yesterday before they processed some type of override which initially didn't change anything, but I tried again this morning and I was allowed to proceed. For those Sprint subscribers on two-year contracts who purchased via Apple: were any of you able to ship to your house? Currently, I cannot select a delivery option because Apple thinks I need to make a deposit, which defaults to in-store pick up. Unfortunately, I can't do that either, since none are available.
I hope this year is like two years ago. I ordered the 7 plus 128gb Black at about 3-315 central time on friday morning when everything finally opened up for us trying to upgrade through the website. Immediately said ships 9/30. Hope it updates but if not, it is not the end of the world.I would be one of those people. I preordered the Iphone 6 Plus at about 5am in the morning. Said I would receive it the week after. On Sunday evening if I remember correctly the date changed to that Friday (Launch Day). In fact I received the phone one day early. On Wednesday UPS updated my order to the next day instead of the Friday.
So yes, there is a chance we will see our iPhones the day before or on launch day, but every year is different. I have the 6s now, and did not preorder. So I have no idea what happened last year.
If anyone gets any update or email with a tracking number or ship date ETA change, please post it here for the group.
Thanks!

Were you under iPhone forever? If so you need to make the equivalent of 12 total payments before you can upgrade. That might be it. If it's a standard lease then you have to pay ALL lease payments (and return the device or pay the buyout amount on top of lease payments) to upgradeI just got out of a chat with Sprint about this. So I ordered 2 devices. My account on September 1st said I was eligible to upgrade my devices. Now keep in mind, I just upgraded my device back in March to the 6s on both my lines. So I was not eligible at least for a year. That is fine. So again, sept 1st my account says I am eligible for an upgrade to my lease with paying the upgrade fee. I checked, and the upgrade fee was 30 dollars, but was waived in the order. My lease is the 17m. When I order the devices, it gives you the options. Upgrade and keep the device for 548 or return and renew your lease agreement. Cool. I pick return and renew. Both lines.
I get an email for both lines as confirmation the order was placed. Now only one of the lines has the RMA kit, and that is the one I received the additional email for saying it was backordered. We know this is relating to the RMA kits. I get on the chat to request an RMA kit be attached to my other order as well.
Here is what he tells me, that because I still have 6 months remains in payments, I will need to pay 346 dollars which is the remainder of the lease when I receive my new device. I asked him, all I wanted was a RMA kit attached to this order like my other line was upgraded with that order number. Nothing is different between these two lines. He still insisted there will be a charge on my account I will need to pay after sending back my device for the remainder of the lease.
I said okay, don't worry about the RMA kit, Ill take care of it after I get my IP7.
So what is this? It doesn't sound correct. I am not breaking the lease, just renewing with a new device, which they offered for an upgrade. Anyone else have the same upgrade situation? Weird.
