The real scandal here is that other retailers and carriers have been claiming to have launch day stock.
Either way come Friday, people are either gunna be pissed that Apple gave all the stock to other retailers, or all these people who bought from the other retailers and carriers are gunna be pissed that they were told they'd be getting a phone on Friday!

I'm beginning to think I'm out of luck here. My local store has never had my configuration in stock.
Clearly not lucky enough. I'm still trying to get a Black 7 Plus from Highcross but they have no stock! They added more stock yesterday but not the config I wanted. No changes between 6 and 7 this morning!

Yeah I remember seeing that too. It seems barmy that the two new colours that get all the coverage at the event are nowhere to be seen. Like @bronksy said, clever marketing? Or just really difficult to make and they're struggling to make up the numbers?

Were you looking on iPP reservation or paid online?That's odd. I checked every minute from 6AM and I never saw any variation on black appear. They had a few Black 7 units yesterday, never saw any Jet Black and nothing at all this morning.
Just spoke to Apple as received an email yesterday payment has been rejected. Tried to re-authorise and failed every card I tired. Spoke to them on phone and they have sorted it and now payment has been taken from my account. How long in till I'll see it in my profile, and preparing for dispatch?

okah greatI had the same trouble. Rejected authorisation (via Apple Pay), the website rejected every card I tried. Had to sort it over the phone also. Status updated to Preparing within the hour.

I'm a new customer to o2 and ordered the iPhone 7 Plus in Rose Gold. Really like the colour (my iPad Pro is the same). Upfront cost is pending on my credit card's available balance and I've had no fraud calls from Lloyds so am assuming everything is alright.
