It may have been asked already but can't find an answer to this question.

I want to get the iPhone 7 on the 0% 20 month plan which is only available in store. Does anyone know if you reserve for in store tomorrow?

Ideally I'd log on tomorrow at 08:01, select my model and store and then on Friday 16th go in and pay via the 0% option.
Yes you can only do it in store so you order it then do the paperwork there then go home with your new phone

That part I know. What I wasn't clear about is tomorrow at 08:01, will there be an option to reserve in store for Friday 16th.

Yeah there should be an option as Apple are advertised it for the iPhone 7 launch

Have seen these reports which make me think otherwise.

Reading store and Apple's live chat that the option to reserve for in-store collection won't be available tomorrow, but will some time during next week

The main reason I've not used recycling sites before is because they could throw some random tosh out about the phone being damaged. My iPhone 6S is spotless, yet they could claim there's a huge scratch on the screen and I would be stuck.

Half tempted to record myself sealing a perfect phone in their box.
This. I sent my s7 edge off to mazuma last week. They were offering £330. After they received it they said that they only wanted to offer me £130 as the screen was broken. I refused as the phone was in perfect condition when I sent it off. It was only a few weeks old. I asked them to send it back. When it arrived back it had a big crack in the screen. So basically they have done it or Royal Mail have done it. I had insurance on the phone so I've had it replaced and I have to make a claim against Royal Mail to cover my insurance excess (£60). Luckily I sent it via special delivery so I'm covered for damages up to £500. I'll not bother with mazuma again. I'll just sell it on the high street to cex.

They need to read their own website then:

Other than being online in time any tips on being prepared to secure an indoor pickup? Will they take appts for the Sunday too? Other than the delay (until perhaps Monday) any particular issues with missed delivery on pre order day (will be out)?

My cc is setup in the apple store. I have a different card setup in apple pay. My local store is set. I'm planning to use the iOS app on my 6splus

I think initially they only have reservations for launch day. Then after launch day you have to go online every day and check that they have the phone available that you want. Then you can reserve for pick up that day.

That's how it worked last year.

Yes you can only reserve for launch day, then overnight they make the phones reserved but not collected available for the next day and so on, and add any new stock they get. Can never reserve for anything but the coming day.

Have a 64 gig 6s but will (hopefully) pre-order iPhone 7, silver, 256gb model for store collection.

Was considering the piano black but it reminds me too much of the 3GS, you only had to look at the back of that and it got a mark / smudge / scratch on it.

For those buying outright or through upgrade program....... Currently a great sim only deal available on Vodafone (which has benefit of wifi calling)....
20GB data, unlimited mins, unlimited texts - £22.20 a month (12 month contract). Usually £37 put on offer with 40% off.

And better still it includes 12 months Spotify (or Now TV or Sky Sports) - so that is effectively another £9.99 saving if already a subscriber making net cost £12.21!!!!

I signed up earlier and was told that deal is expected to be pulled as soon as iPhone orders start - so get in there quick!!!!

I cancelled my Vodafone contract a few months ago with 8 months left on the contract.

They are the most underhand, despicable, lying, dirty network in the U.K. I can only encourage anyone to re think twice before signing as they constantly lie through their teeth to get you to sign up.

Beware with your bills and pray you never have any problems as aftercare is non existent.

Good deal, and Quidco has £75 cashback on this.

YMMV. I've been with them years, mostly without any issues with their service or support.
They're certainly not likely to be any worse than a BT owned and run EE though. ;)

To be fair I think all UK networks are much of a muchness - none of them a shining examples of great customer service - and they're all still under the illusion they add some value other than being a dumb pipe.

I have been with Voda for 5 years and never had an issue. Big pluses have been wifi calling and the overseas bundles/roaming availability. Forgot to mention also that this plan included 4GB Euro roaming data.

I think whichever network you choose you will find people who have had bad experiences.

On SIM free I don't think there is really much that can go wrong other than network performance. Plan is what it is.

Have you started your RM claim?

I have sent off my 6S plus today to Mazuma. Took pictures of the phone whilst wrapping it up and packaging it showing it in pristine condition just in case i have to prove myself.

Asked the royal mail counter staff to put a fragile handle with care sticker and also used the RM special delivery too.

Hopefully ill know by tomorrow at some point what Mazuma are going to say.

Your post has made me worry now lol dont know if ill sleep tonight!

when you reserve to pick up in store, do you have to have a credit card associated with the apple account? Reason I ask is my primary apple account is for Portuguese store where I live but I'm flying into Bristol on 16th and wanted to collect from the Bath store but don't want hassle of adding/changing credit cards to apple id's.

Sent my 6S plus today and took before and after pictures of the phone when packaging it up.

Just waiting for tomorrow now to see what Mazuma say about it.

So "reserve for instore pick up" means literally you are just reserving and you pay on the 16th instore ? Rather than pay up front (tomorrow) and collect on the 16th ?
