These were mentioned earlier in this thread and so I took a punt and ordered some on Saturday. They arrived yesterday and so far I'm very pleased. The sound is good especially the base. the range is pretty poor (i.e. lose line of sight to the phone and it will pretty quickly drop out. That said this is the first pair of wireless headphones I've had so maybe its a common thing?). I note that a lot of the reviews are from people who've been sent them to give them a good review and there are a few people ('real' purchases?) that mention problems after a few weeks, so i'll reserve judgement. But with Air pods being 8 times the price, I can't see how they can be 8 times as good!

Ah those look all right, I've been eyeballing these..

I already have a set of QC35's, not sure if you were talking specifically about the airpods though?

I mean any, doubt I will be getting the airpods at £159!

Thats roughly what i thought might be the case.
Who knows, i normally don't get my order in as quick so i am surprised i haven't had any movement.

I was holding our same hope that there are 2 batches of the phone en route. Both are coming in early and the second one they can now guarantee supply for the 20th, why people with later times get this.

The first batch for earlier times, they are hoping will come in even earlier but cannot guarantee exactly when so cannot update those ones.

Or maybe I am spending way too much time overthinking this as actually it is only 4 days, and when I have that as a long weekend it goes past in the blink of an eye.

Not sure if the phones are being delivered my DPD, however they have a great iPhone app which if you register an account, they automatically track parcels coming to your address (without putting in a tracking number). I've often had my parcel show in the app before it's even been marked as dispatched by the retailer.

Not sure if I made the right choice with a gold plus, can't do black bazel again after 4/5 years but matte black looks so nice from the back
Not convinced. As I said on the original thread where this was linked:
FAKE
  1. There should be a seam down the cellophane on the side of the box. Google Apple packaging pictures to see what I mean.
  2. The cellophane is way too loose on the supposed Jet Black box. At the very least it has been opened and resealed.
  3. We don't see the back of the Jet Black out the box (harder to obtain a dummy of).

What does everyone else think?

My order with Very has changed to processing and I emailed them asking how likely delivery on Friday was and they said very likely (even sending me Royal Mail tracking numbers, which I assume means they've booked a pickup for a parcel with RM? Tracking doesn't say anything yet other than that a parcel is due to be delivered). I was already a Very customer so didn't join especially for the iPhone and even on the morning preorders opened on all other websites their advisors were telling people on Twitter that Very wouldn't be taking preorders until October! So, hopefully their buyers did get some stock and it comes Friday. Also ordered a Series 1 watch that also says delivery Friday.

Yep my order is exactly the same status and was updated at 12:35 this afternoon. I also had a similar conversation myself with Very and they said there is no obvious reason for delivery not to be made this Friday. So fingers crossed I will have a nice shinny new Jet Black 128GB 7 Plus for the weekend:)

Anybody have an idea when the otterbox statement case will be available for the 4.7 inch iphone or an idea if it will be instore ion friday ?

Oooh, really? There's hope then.
I've not had any devices since the Apple Watch, only bits and bobs which came with UKMail...

Depends where it comes from, UK stock will come via DPD or UK Mail, if from China, crappy UPS! I say crappy as I've nightmares with them recently....stolen sunglasses, late deliveries, damaged goods...

Hey guys, just been checking my online banking for my debit card and £1 has been taken out of my account but it just says international debit card fee? Could this be Apple? I actually paid for my phone on my credit card but have my debit card on Apple Pay as well so maybe they are taking it out of my other account. I have heard this happening to other people as well. I don't really mind which one but just wander if this is Apple or not ....we will see. :)

More than likely

Probably international if from Apple in Ireland as they aren't part of the UK...

Ouch. All my Apple "device orders" have always come with UPS, rest with UK Mail...
I get what you mean with UPS, I had issues in the past, but not recently.
But generally prefer DPD and UK Mail, as they give you an hour slot so you don't need to stay in all day!

Yeah, they used to be ok, but recently they have been appalling!

In addition to my Very order I'm still hopefull of getting my Gold 128gb 7 Plus from my local Apple store. I have it reserved for Friday pickup. Had an issue over the weekend where Apple tried to take the money from my John Lewis credit card, was rather worried as I have plenty of credit available. Managed to speak to Apple first thing, though took 20 mins to get through to someone who was very helpful. Got in touch with John Lewis and it was flagged for security. Finally got it sorted and I made payment at around 9.30 this morning. Though my order is still saying processing. Wonder when it will start to move along?

I had the same thing ! got a text from capital one saying it was blocked for security reasons ! all sorted now though :)

Does anyone know which company delivers for O2 as this is my first online upgrade from them as usually do it in store.

You're safe then! I just really like their 1 hour window and get really frustrated when I see them on the little map and seem to basically drive past my house to return hours later!

I once queried this with one of their drivers, he said their system is set up before the delivery and their little scanning machine only work in that order and won't let it be scanned in a different order which seems very uneconomical, however our old driver used to bring different parcels and obviously scan them in later he was a top bloke, since I've moved I dread DPD deliveries as their drivers here never make any effort!
