2yrs ago when the 6+ was launched I couldn't wait the 3 weeks I'd slipped to get mine so I literally camped out at the Trafford Centre and I gout the phone I wanted on launch day.
Do  still allow this??

There are no 'walk-ins' this year. You can queue but it'll just be a social occasion with no Apple purchasing of any kind involved!!

I'm supposed to be sending off my iPhone 6S Plus 128GB to Envirofone by the 23rd and have a 27th-29th estimate still on my Matt Black iPhone 7 Plus 256GB. Does anyone know if they will extend the date for sending on request? Trying to figure out otherwise because the price has lowered by £30 since my quotation.

I had the 7+ 126GB on pre-order with Three they told me I wouldn't get it until September 30th or at the latest October 14th so I cancelled that yesterday & am picking one up in store at Three on Friday. Because logic lol

if your budget can stretch, buy a "cheap" iPhone from apple, an older model which they have stock of, look after it for 14 days and return it when your 7 turns up

Worth reading back through the thread mate.

Every outlet originally had Friday delivery.

If Apple doesn't have stock neither will:
- Argos
- Very
- John Lewis
- Resellers
- Carriers


There hasn't been ANY black or jet black pluses ordered through Apple that are shipping for Friday delivery

I certainly wouldn't be cancelling any pre orders based on that assumption

I'd put money on carriers and probably even very (who are an apple authorised reseller, btw) having some stock for launch. Probably just not much

I think this is the greatest stock issue iPhones had since I can remember. 5s was constrained as well as I can remember, but never did Apple not have stock of products for launch day.

The 7 plus models all say out of stock. I'm guessing that whilst they will be technically available to order tonight...... they will be out of stock hence no order actually possible!
