iPhone 7/7+ - UK Orders & Dispatches Thread

Like many other have been saying there have been hardly any jet blacks available anywhere. Guess the only way to tell if there indeed any at all will be to look on ebay and how many people are selling them

This has never happened before. The closest comparison I can think of is the higher-end Apple Watches. They were 4-6 weeks from the get-go. But the only difference was the strap, so it isn't really comparable, and the backlogged models were never pitched as "the" ones to get.

If you dont mind me asking how do you know there were zero available ? The UK isn't the only market in the world and this forum only accounts for a very small % of iPhone users

Are you really trying to argue that someone got launch day delivery of a Jet Black Plus?

They didn't. One or two people in the US did but that was it.

If there was launch availability, they would be listed on eBay for thousands. There are none.
 
I went in to JL at the Trafford Centre on my way home today and spoke to a couple of different people. the first didn't really seem to know much about the iPhone launch other than they're not opening any earlier than usual for it and they'd have more in store than online.
The second seemed more clued up and again confirmed they would have plenty in store, more than any previous year, (whatever number that means), but they confirmed that they weren't getting any 7 pluses and wouldn't have any Jet Black 7s. They seemed to think the only JL store that might have pluses would be the Oxford Street store.
So with that and as the JL website release has come and gone, I think I'm going to have to resign myself that i won't get the 256GB matte black plus i want on launch day.

I'm not arguing .... just questioning the source of you saying ZERO, which I guess is because you don't know of anyone rather than any hard fact ? Of course they are scarce but that maybe because the world is a big place and it doesn't always centre around the UK. Also to add that its not launch day yet and everyone who orders doesn't necessarily post it on here.
 
My plans to graph just how quickly they sold out is foiled by the fact they cache stock in the front end, so the figures are delayed. Most phones are sold out now :(
