My JB iPhone7 seems to be ever so slightly bigger than my previous Space Grey 6. I have a Sena pouch case and it is a snugger fit.

The 6S was a tiny bit larger than the 6 due to adding the taptic engine, the 7 is the same size as the 6S.

spoke to apple because I didn't recognise the last 4 digits of the card.

However what the live chat person didn't tell me was its perfectly normal to have the "wrong" last 4 digits. because I used Apple Pay.

By the time I found this out it was too late, they had removed that as my payment option and I gave them my credit card directly rather than via Apple Pay.

I have had a £1 hold on the card but nothing else.

So I rang Halifax, who I must say are excellent with their customer service, and the lady confirmed it had been flagged and she has un flagged it. the problem is that apple have removed that payment and are re-trying with the same card but who knows when they will retry.

The most annoying thing was if I had been told that the last 4 digits are always different with Apple Pay it would have been an easy phone call.

So the long and short of it is:

Who knows what will happen now!?! If I was really really lucky it may get put through and go through ok soon. If not he said they will try for payment on the 20th.

I am waiting on live chat again to see if they can"push" the payment through but I am not hopeful....

Interestingly enough when I spoke to the halifax I asked if there was a way of giving them a heads up about a substantial purchase and she said its totally random and automated so theres nothing they can do. Which explains why in April I successfully used my debit card to pay £7000 for a car without an issue. Yet a £819 phone causes all this.

I have said it before but this launch has been such an utter debacle, I actually feel exhausted from all the calls, panicking, logging in and out, so lucky I have had the week off work to deal with it today. Really rubbish launch year this year

My experience with a faulty iPad suggests stores don't like having online orders returned to them as they come out of a different stock allocation and makes the stores figures look worse with more returns. So while you may be able to their first response could very well be no.
I was told last year that I could swap my silver 6S plus for a gold one in the same configuration. I even rang up the store which had the stock and they confirmed that I could. I never did because I had morning sickness and couldn't get down to the store.

Thanks mate. Just a bit worried when i seen my status went back to processing. Hopefully it's all plain sailing now.
Mine never even went from processing, a little miffed... 8:05 confirmation and no movement at all. Apple advisor said everything appears fine and no payment issues but still not even seen a pending payment.

I'm waiting on an Iphone 7 + Black 128gb.

Just had an email from Apple saying my payment was declined, Llyods said they didn't know why but could see it on my system.

I've since changed payment method, but never had this happen before.

Anyone know if this may delay delivery? I changed my details within an hour of the email.

My 7 Plus Jet Black 256GB has been dispatched - Interestingly enough I've a UPS tracking number, so it's coming directly from the factory in China as opposed to coming in via Ireland (as all the past iPhones I've had come in).

Scheduled Delivery:
Wednesday, 21/09/2016, By End of Day

Last Location:
Arrived - ZhengZhou, China, Friday, 16/09/2016

Isn't there a way you can track your order even though it says 'preparing to dispatch'?
If so, how do I do that?

My payment was blocked by Halifax for fraud prevention on Friday last week. I was regularly checking my order status and that's how I found out. I got it authorised by Halifax and then the payment went through straight away. My status changed to preparing to dispatch about 4-5 hours later and I still got my phone today.

I don't know what is up with the banks this year. They seem over zealous.
