Even from my limited testing it's clear that the front facing camera is way better than the Galaxy S7's. Very obvious difference in clarity and sharpness that was immediately noticeable. The iPhone captures way more detail for selfies.
The rear camera I haven't really had time to compare properly. From the looks of it it's very close to the Galaxy S7 camera. Samsung wins in focusing speed no doubt. In turn, Apple's photos don't seem to suffer from the over sharpening that Samsung's can. Can't judge colour balance as haven't viewed them on the same display yet. The real test will be low light.
The stereo speakers are louder and better than the S7's mono speaker. In terms of the display Samsung wins - I think that will suprise no one.
It will be interesting to see battery life. S7 has been very good from my experience in this regard.
