Id love to phone them but there shut now..whatta shocker..

I'm the same as you. Refused payment, Llyods said nothing to do with them and it was Apples way they processed it.

I changed my card to a different one. Contacted apple and they didn't say much.. just that they would attempt re-payment automatically.

Does anyone know if this is automatic and will happen over the weekend or should we stop checking and leave it till Monday?

Thanks, hopefully Mazuma get it back to me ASAP.
I suppose the other option is to take it to Apple and get them to have a look at it, I bought it on the 25/09/15 so it's still under warranty.
Even if it's not under warranty, a manufacturing defect as claimed by Mazuma is covered under your statutory rights. Just check it before you take it to Apple to see if you can see what Mazuma claimed.

Currently deciding if I want to restore from and iCloud backup or just start fresh. The only stuff I'd like to keep would be messages, pictures and health data. But a fresh start would be nice.. Hmmm

Has anyone tried to AirDrop their entire camera roll to a new phone? Is that even possible? That way all I would lose is health data and messages, and I would be okay with that
iCloud Photos for the win ;) Only thing I'm going to lose is Messages and Health. I haven't stuck to many Health goals though so not fussed about that.

I wouldn't dream of doing a fresh start. All that data I've acquired over the years is precious. Especially iMessage data - pretty useful when you're having arguments and you scroll back through conversations to prove someone wrong.

Also my health data is important to me, seen as I'm a runner.

Sorry I know probably asked 100s of times but hard to keep up - what's the link we need to be checking tomorrow morning at 6 am?

The lady who I spoke to at apple said it should go through automatically. She couldn't give me a timescale.

Just restore from backup, then skip the page where it asks for iTunes Store passwords, this will stop app downloads. Once it's restored go to settings/general/reset/reset all settings this will remove all settings on your phone but leave you with iMessages, pictures, health that you want.

Any issues with IUP? I was refused for no apparent reason and I have an impeccable credit score... Rather confused! iPhone 7 128GB Black purchased outright

Between my group of friends, we've got 2 declines, 2 accepted and 2 couldn't process because the Barclays system went down. The 2 declines are folks I would never have expected to have problems - i'm not sure if part of the system issues meant people were being declined by mistake too, but that might make sense!

My experiences with Barclays partner finance from working in an Apple Store is that there is no correlation on who gets approved and who doesn't. I've seen people with perfect credit scores get declined and others who have ok to good credit score get accepted.

I think they just flip a coin

Quite a queue at Apple Store Selfridges this morning. I waited about 1hr45mins.
[doublepost=1474059265][/doublepost]Anyway, I have my shiny new gold iPhone 7+ now, and have finally managed to restore and set it up. Bit disappointed to find out I had to re-register all my 2FA authenticators despite restoring from backup. Oh well, no biggie.
