JB 128 Plus just arrived from JL. It's stunning for sure however, it has a yellow tint to the screen compared to my 6s + and has a couple of specs of dust inside of the camera lens.

this sort of thing wouldn't bother most people, but once I've seen something I can't un-see it. I'm afraid if be taking it back for a replacement.

When did you order that ?

That's what I'm like. Not sure if it's TrueTone but the right hand side of the screen seems warmer than the left hand side. Can't really capture it via a picture.

My 128gb JB 7+ is still showing processing, with ships in 2-3 weeks, with a delivery estimate of 4th-10th October.

As the days go on, the magic is beginning to fade and I'm wondering whether I made the right decision. selling my 64gb 6S+ :(

I've had every iPhone since the 4 and even had the original 2g. I've queued for iPhones, I've ordered them online and even been successful with the reservation system for in store collection.

This year feels a little flat. Phone looks great and I've always enjoyed the incremental S models. Maybe I'm just wondering whether I should just wait for the 8, or just stop worrying about having the latest greatest phone as soon as it it launched. I'm thinking of canceling my order and buying a 6 from eBay (essentially going backwards)

:( :(

FYI the screens are noticeably warmer on all 7's this year.

Personally I wouldn't be taking back a JB Plus unless it came in two pieces... :p

Well my iPhone 7 Plus Jet Black 128GB has changed status...

13:19:47 - Processing Items - Delivers 26 Sep - 3 Oct by Standard Shipping
13:24:51 - Preparing for Dispatch - Delivers 26 Sep - 3 Oct by Standard Shipping

I had a little Ruby script checking the apple store every 5 mins and between the above times (BST) it changed! Yay!

FYI, I ordered using Apple Pay within 30-45 seconds of the Apple Store app coming to life on preorder day and have a confirmation email at 08:04am

I'll let you know if/when it changes status again.

Just got my dispatch notification and it's coming direct from China as expected, via UPS and according to UPS should be here on Wednesday 21st September. The Apple store is now saying delivery by 27th September but the UPS site should be more accurate.

Hang in there folks! :)

My thoughts exactly, there's no chance of replacement stock and it's only two tiny specs of dust. The screen being warmer will take some getting used to.

I picked up my JB 7Plus 128GB from John Lewis Trafford a couple of hours ago. Just finished restoring. Absolutely love it!

Whist I was at Trafford I popped into Apple and had them apply one of the new Belkin Invisiglass Ultra screen protectors (glass is Corning). These are in store only and don't even show up on Apple or Belkin UK websites.

Screen protector is absolutely perfect, very thin so you hardly notice, and Apple Store applied using their special machine thing! Expensive (£24.99) but would highly recommend!!!

Love the new notification centre in iOS 10.

Were the staff drooling over the phone? Most likely the first one they've seen in the flesh.

Did you order to collect or happen to pop in and find the phone in stock?

How did you manage to get ahold of that ? Did you call beforehand ?

Never mind, saw you reply above

But what if you had to ever replace your phone at genius bar. You lose £24.99 as the screen protector is non transferrable.

If Belkin offer lifetime replacement then i would contact belkin and get one sent free.

Personally ive ordered media devil screen protectors from Amazon for £4.99 and will see how i get on.

I'd read about their machine, good to hear it works well - i'll likely do that too then now, thanks for sharing.

Is it also a rear protector?

Also, there was a guy on here who said JL checked and confirmed that no JL store had any stock! I ordered from JL online and just received it.

How did JL end up with more JB pluses than Apple?!

I think it actually does have a lifetime guarantee. I reckon though Apple would replace anyway if you were getting a phone warranty replacement.

No - front only. Im using the Black silicone case at moment whilst I decide what I want to do to protect rear (though seems a shame as hides phone!). Also got a clear Spigen case to try.

So I traded in my 6S plus 128GB to Carphone warehouse for £440 and I got to keep my charger and lightning cable. So all in all I got £740 for my s7 edge and 6S plus so my 7 plus only cost me £80!!

The speakers are much better and more noticeable than I expected.

I'm loving the optical zoom. Even though it's only 1x it makes a big difference. Outdoor shots are sharper and it's better in low light.

On another note one of the guys in car phone warehouse had the Matt black 7 plus. I have to admit it looks stunning.

Someone came in looking to get the 7 in black and they told him that they only had it in gold and silver.
