To put it bluntly, yes.

I can only speak about my experience and it's my experience that this years launch has been poor.

I've never not had an iPhone at launch. So regardless of the reasons or whether it's the same as previous years or whether I'm being hysterical or not, the fact remains that I have not managed to get an iPhone on launch.

So when I compare my experience with this year to previous years, I'm bound to say it's poor.

People who've had a JB 7+ dispatch with UPS for Weds delivery - any update? Mine's still in China.

My order went to dispatched the day after yours, and has a Departure Scan now from ZhengZhou, China.

Says delivery on Thursday, but every UPS delivery always comes a day earlier. Guess living next door to Faslane has some benefits

FYI, I have ordered loads of items from Apple, and when shipping from China there is always a delay of 36 to 48 hours whilst sitting and waiting to leave China. But once you get the Departure Scan notification from ZhengZhou, China then u'll be happy to see the speed at which is gets from China to your door. I am full expecting it to arrive Wednesday, but Thursday is also ok (as long as it gets here!!)

Was it a Peel case? I ordered one and it's been shipped. Will take up to 10 days apparently.

If you ring EE and quote the tesco mobile deal, vodafone or potentially still BT deal, they should offer 20gb for £20 and/or 25gb for £25.

And it's my experience that this year is worse than any other year. So regardless of what tales you have to tell from previous years, I still believe this year is worse.

Cancelled my 7+ JB gonna stick with my 6s+ and wait for the 8 or whatever it's going to be called. Just felt the upgrade didn't justify the price tag for me. Enjoy your new phones peeps!

You can make extra payments to cover any difference to get one at launch next year. That's what some of the Yanks have done.

Ahh that would help somewhat, although I guess technically I'm paying to have the phone for a shorter amount of time. Still not great, but I guess it's an option.

Highly doubt apple is going to break trends with an 8 we are almost definitely going to get a 7s first in my opinion.

Friend of mine said Three rang him today, he originally had a pickup date of tomorrow but is now delayed for 2-3 weeks. He ordered 128GB Matte 7+.

They told him straight up that Apple is to blame for shortages.

I'm on 20gb for £20. 12 Months. But I matched the BT offer a few months ago. My sister got 15gb for £20 last week if that's any help, and was offered 25gb for £25 but didn't take it.

I probably would have done the same exact thing if I had a 6+, as the 7+, is pretty much the same phone!

However, for me, who only has an iPhone 6, jumping to the 7 is definitely a worthwhile upgrade (I haven't yet even experienced force touch on a phone!!!).

Should be with me this week!!!
