Ok then I value your opinion immensely! Have you handled both the Black and the Jet Black? Whats you opinion?
I'm trying to get hold of an apple specialist online to ask whether i can go into store once my JB is delivered and convert to IUP. If I can I'll do that. Or if Black is a better option I may have an opportunity to get one of those on IUP and cancel my JB order. So hard!!
I've only handled the JB and I think it's beautiful.
Basically this is how I see it - JB is ergonomically better to hold. The back is grippy, which means less slip likelihood and reduced bulk. The trade off is fingerprints (barely noticeable, ignore that image circulating on the net, it's an extreme case), and scratches, apparently (the talk of scratching like minutes after opening the box... nah, mine's all good).
Black is slippier to hold, if the 6/6S+ is anything to go by. You'll want to put it in a case. Bigger bulk.
So it's basically a question of whether you're a "now" user or a "tomorrow" thinker. As in, do you value the phone experience in the now, or do you spend more time concerned with how it's going to look in two years? If the former, I'd go JB. If latter, probably Black with a case.
Personally, I don't worry too much about how things are going to look in two years. At the end of the day, resale value is a bonus to me. When I buy any tech, I ask myself whether I can warrant buying it based on the £1 a day idea. In other words, will I need to upgrade before that £1 a day rule expires? The iPhone is £819. So just over 2 years to pay off that £819. Which is, conveniently, an upgrade cycle. And even if the phone is knackered, I'll get at least £100 for it.
So yeah. It's a question you have to ask yourself, different for everyone.
Yeah, I ADORE this JB. So, so glad I made the right call for me.
