That was quicker than Basingstoke. I woulda preferred reading as that's a 20 minute train journey, instead of my 75 minute one to Basingstoke.

They are going damn quick! I am in a similar situation. Got a 3 hour round trip to collect mine when there are 2 Apple stores that I could get to with a 2 hour round trip. Beggars can't be choosers though I guess.

Lol went into the Apple store, a JB owner furious and wanted to return his phone. Turns out although he put it in one of the official leather cases, the process of taking the phone and taking it out (he needed to take it out for some reason) left some minor scuffs on the side.

Good luck JB owners! Insta C grade.

Also he had some scratches at the bottom right around the charging port. Obviously when you plug in in the charger, you might touch the charger with the outer rim and sides of the phone a little bit - enough to damage the coating!
I'm having serious doubts about my JB 7+ order-I never use a case but have a dedicated pocket and have never scratched or marked a phone but this seems to be a different kettle of fish. Think I'll try and bag a 7+ black and let logic rule over my love of shiny black tech!

Interesting that once you get to the page for a particular model to reserve a time slot you can click change store and it shows there else is available.

Would be far easier if that was the live search page

Ok then I value your opinion immensely! Have you handled both the Black and the Jet Black? Whats you opinion?

I'm trying to get hold of an apple specialist online to ask whether i can go into store once my JB is delivered and convert to IUP. If I can I'll do that. Or if Black is a better option I may have an opportunity to get one of those on IUP and cancel my JB order. So hard!!

My Zagg glass screen protector has just arrived from carphone warehouse (was gonna send back anyway since I bought a Panzer one) on my invoice it says iPhone 7 plus, but it's a 6/6S+ protector which wouldn't fit, great job CPW.

The script is beyond me ! (plus I don't have a PC)

Anyone who is running it willing to do me a big favour and text me when a 256gb Plus+ comes into stock in Black - in MetroCentre or Newcastle?? Thanks!!

My phone dispatched but not due till tomorrow unhappy by this as I may not be in tomorrow :(

Had one in the basket for reservation in Glasgow. Apple decided to make that the moment they lock my account and request me to go through some unlock session. By the time that was done it was gone!

Re: iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus: Delivery Information

Hi everyone, we're back with another update. I've also updated the first post of this discussion with the same information.

Update, 21 September

  • Today we’re texting delivery information to everyone who pre-ordered an iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in our shop or by phone.

The text contains a date by when we expect your phone will be delivered, based on the latest information we have available from Apple.

If you pre-ordered the new iPhone from an EE shop, you’ll receive a call from a store advisor as soon as your handset is ready to collect.

There are a few things you can do now to prepare for your new iPhone: Get ready for your new iPhone with our top tips

  • A new shipment:

We received another shipment from Apple overnight, and more pre-orders are going out via our courier, DPD, today:

    - If you pre-ordered the new iPhone over the phone or online, you’ll receive delivery information by text.

    - If you’re a new EE customer, we'll contact you via the details you provided to us.

    - If you pre-ordered from an EE shop, you’ll receive a call from a store advisor as soon as your phone is ready to collect.

  • To switch to another iPhone 7 model:

If you simply can’t wait, and are considering a switch to another iPhone 7 colour or size, we currently have strong stock in these models:

    iPhone 7 32GB Gold
    iPhone 7 32GB Rose Gold
    iPhone 7 128GB Silver
    iPhone 7 128GB Gold
    iPhone 7 128GB Rose Gold

    To make the switch:

    - If you ordered in an EE store, please contact the store.

    - If you ordered online or by phone, dial 150.

We’ll be back tomorrow with another update – our sincere apologies to everyone waiting, and thanks for your patience.

[doublepost=1474461162][/doublepost]What on earth is going in Manchester?

Is it the only city not to have had any stock at all since 9th September of plus size models?

If the one you were trying for is out of stock at this point because someone beat you to it, you can actually refresh this page and use it in exactly that way.

That's how I bagged mine yesterday.

Still patiently waiting for either of the Manchester stores to get a 7+ black.

Is iUP only available through the reservation route? Or can you do it with pick up in store?
