That sounds pretty awful. Are you buying on contract or outright?
You should look for an unlocked GSM device when in the USIm off to NY in 2 weeks for my honeymoon and the chances are looking better for me to be able to pick up a 256GB+ while I'm there. I want to put an O2 sim card in, is there a certain device that i should be looking for? And do they sell unlocked devices?

Yes, it should do as long as its unlocked. So when i come back to the UK my O2 sim card will work, yes?

My JB plus 128 was confirmed at 08:06 -- gone to PFD at some point this afternoon.08:07 - 4-10 Oct - Still Processing - Email Con - 08:07
What information did they ask you (income, employment details?) or why do you think it was rejected? I'm worried mine could be rejected too :/

If you got the reservation code/QR code the reservation is there and confirmed. Check your spam box for the email, everyone's iReserve confirmation seems to go straight into spam. But you really do no need the email.
Also, if you download and log in to the Apple Store app it'll be there too, QR code and all.
'Could' see delivery this time next week at this rate!Ordered a 7+ JB 128GB at 08:06 with a date of 4th to 10th Oct. Now moved to PFD
Is there an average for this stage of the process??
I believe if you choose an ATT Model or TMobile model they're GSM Unlocked because they use a sim card whereas Verizon is CDMA meaning the phone doesn't require a sim card. Im sure an apple employee there will be able to help if Ive got something wrong. I once bought an iPad in the US and was advised which would work in the UK and which wouldn't.Thanks Anthony, I'm looking online and all i can see is carrier iPhones listed. Hopefully they sell unlock ones also?
for those who have gone into PFD, has your card already been charged? My JB plus 128 was confirmed at 08:06 -- gone to PFD at some point this afternoon.
Your order to be shipped is completely different. You are paying for the whole cost of the device up front. All Apple want to know is if you have the funds in your account to pay for the phone. The upgrade programme is a credit agreement. Apple are going to give you the phone today and you pay it off in instalments. So the credit check is an indicator of whether you are likely to be able to make the payments each month and enable Apple to recoup the cost of the phone.Income Per annum, Employment, Housing status. No idea why it was rejected, as my order to be shipped to my home address got accepted
