It'll be shipping direct to you from China sometime this week. Probably by UPS, but in the olden days, it would go via Kuehne + Nagel to Amsterdam, then TNT from Amsterdam to the UK. I think UPS handle things directly from China now though!
Mine has gone from China to Amsterdam and hasn't moved since yesterday... :(

Also annoying that these people are buying anything just to 'return it later' for the one they want.
Someone had done it in the TC for a 32gb the other day and didn't even want it.
Brilliant.

Really unsure whether the wait for the jet black plus will be worth it considering how easy it scratches. I already have a clear case for it which will protect it for the most part but the cut outs around the camera have me concerned. Trying to land myself a matte black plus for now and then once the jet black arrives ill decide. Havent even been able to see the jet black in person yet as my local apple store only had one JB 7 on display and it was swarmed with customers.

Anywho, almost had a matte black plus 2 days back but Santander conveniently rejected the transaction for security purposes:rolleyes:Ive noticed a decrease in Plus stock again in comparison to 2 days ago.

Oh well, guess we shall keep on waiting ever so impatiently;)

Yes no way they release it June/July (June 29th is the 10th anniversary), that would also mean they'd need iOS 11 ready by June which isn't going to happen.

I don't think we'll ever see an iPad 3 to iPad 4 debacle again, certainly not with iPhones as that is too vital to their revenue.

It's possible that if the new design is as radical as expected, they may want to announce it a few months in advance, but not ship until September. This would head off part leaks from the supply chain or elsewhere as production ramps up. Then they control the whole story. They did this with the Watch and even the original iPhone.

It would kill iPhone 7 sales between announcement date and iPhone 8 release though! But if they aren't expecting the 7 to sell that much overall anyway compared to previous models they might be willing to take the hit.

Can I ask for anyone that has managed to reserve one for pickup for the IUP program - did you get an email confirmation with your reservation details? I ask because I managed to reserve a 7 plus 128gb but haven't received an email confirmation and its been a couple of hours now. I have though printed the online confirmation screen with the pickup code but am just a little concerned that they won't actually have the phone I go to pick it up.

For what it's worth, I'm assuming that both battery cases use the same circuitry inside and thus the 6 and 7 can't differentiate between the two, so they should be interchangeable. I'll post the test results in a separate thread, since it's not exactly related to the pre-orders in this thread.

Just received my IUP paperwork from Barclays.

Just a quick tip that might help those using the programme, my first installment comes out on the 22nd of each month starting from Oct which means by August 22nd 2017 I would have made 11 payments which is the minimum payments you need to make to be eligible to upgrade to the next model.

Barclays will allow you to change your payment date once a year for free (£10 if you need it change it more than once).

So as long as the iPhone 7s/8/10 is released before 22nd of Sept 2017 then you should be ok to upgrade with the minimum 11 payments, but judging from things that could go wrong i.e lack of stock, reservation issues I've moved my payments to come out on the last day of the month 30/31

This should hopefully give people some extra time to get their upgrade before a 12th installment is made to Barclays

One would hope that Apple will sort IUP for next year and that 22nd of September would be long enough to get an iPhone 8.

By the way, how quick and easy is it to move your payment date?

Apple advised me this morning that my jet black 7 128gb is likely to be delivered on 28th despite showing an estimated delivery date of today (23rd). Apple order page just changed to 'out for delivery'... tracking number still not working on DHL though. Not sure how reliable it is.

Is there a specific time during the day (other than 6am and 10pm) where we should be checking for stock or is it just throughout the day?
Desperate to reserve a 32gb Matt Black Plus at Trafford Centre.

My local store (Highcross) had 2 x 7 Plus Black 32GB become available, one at 11:27AM and the second at 11:28AM. So it appears to be random.

Good tip.

Lots of people seem to think it'll be July next year due to the anniversary though.

No. That's too tight a time frame and people already tease that your iPhone is "already out of date" when you take it out the box. If they bring out the next one 4 months early people will flip, especially IUP customers. Unlikely to happen.

If you got the reservation code/QR code the reservation is there and confirmed. Check your spam box for the email, everyone's iReserve confirmation seems to go straight into spam. But you really do not need the email.

Also, if you download and log in to the Apple Store app it'll be there too, QR code and all.

Matt black iPhone 7 plus 256gb available at Apple Braehead.

32gb 7 plus Matt black and 256gb Matt black also available Princes Street in Edinburgh.

Anyone have any idea how fast Carphone Warehouse refund upfront payments if I cancel my order?

Tempted to try and reserve one at Bath or Bristol but currently have an order with CPW, and as I paid a large amount upfront I would prefer to put that towards buying it from the Apple Store.
