You know what's funny?

I'm off to Uni next Saturday so launch day delivery was my only option for my home address. In the panic that ensued, this has happened:

Phone delivering after launch day to my home address, where I won't be living.
Watch delivering on launch day to my Uni address, where I won't yet be living.

Is it worth getting to my local Apple Shop first thing and asking if they have any non reserved stock for the iPhone exchange programme?

YAYAYAYAYA its processing!

Ahh, annoying :/ but I still say that it will probbably come way sooner than they estimate! That's what happened with my 6 Plus, I ended up getting it like two days after launch even though the original estimate was in the order of a few weeks
Let's hope! Probably unlikely though with me being in what, the third or forth delivery bracket?

To add to my misery I was going to order the Ceramic Watch but the 30th September delivery put me off. Now it's 5-7 weeks. #regret

So when does the order status thread open up? :D

...I'm still Refreshing.
:mad::D

Fingers crossed on that then! I even got into work early to order this thing!

Whoa, glad I just signed up for the £19.99 sim only (16GB) deal and got the phone outright...

£19.99 sim only with 16gb?? Thats not with EE is it? I only saw the £20 a month with 8gb deal.......

Mines is reserved for pick up next Friday, actually wanted to pick it up Sunday but no other dates available. Also says you can't change it.

The fact that orders are already processing leads me to believe that the plus 128gb black owners like myself who have a delivery of 6-8 days will actually get them on launch day. Fingers crossed!

Not today it isn't, they won't be able to reserve anything for you just direct you to the website. On launch day you might get lucky but will be massive queue obviously.

Pray to the Apple gods. I'm in the same boat as you.

All orders go to processing regardless of date of delivery

I think processing allows you to edit the order etc

Best not get your hopes up as Apple might not deliver it for launch but maybe the week after.

When I ordered my 6 two years ago I missed the Launch Day window by a few minutes (so was presumably near the top of the queue) and got a 'disappointing' initial estimate.

The estimate on the webpage then moved up two or three times over the week and ended-up coming from China / Germany / East Midlands amazingly quickly, arriving on the Saturday via UPS on the day after Launch Day, so I'm hopeful but not expecting anything.

They will have some stock on launch day if you're early in the line for sure.

The problem is, (at least around here) that line is often busy by the evening before launch because resellers pay people to go sit in it overnight. :(

Apple gods love me. I've been loyal to them. You have no idea how I was massively torn between this and the Samsung s7 edge. I know this is an apple forum with predominantly pro Apple fans, but a lot of what Apple said I dont agree with (such as removing headphone jack to make it water resistant), since Samsung have done the same without needing to remove it. Needless to say, I just couldn't leave Apple since my daily life is surrounding by the iOS ecosystem (watch, laptop, iPad, even my car has Apple car play). Now I am super excited for this phone especially since I already own a pair of really good wireless headphones that have over 20 hours of music battery and actually sound amazing. None of that beats ********.

The Apple gods have always brought me my iPhone's on launch day, although this is the first time they seem to have bottled it by showing a lack of day one availability for some of their models. Hopefully it was just a fail safe on their part and we will get our phones on time. Even if we don't, I feel fortunate as I know there are others here who have to wait until October or worse.

Can you imagine if the reason the phones are taking so long to arrive is because they had to wait for iOS 10 GM to be installed, rather than simply not being made quickly enough.

If I could give this post a thumbs down I would. Consider yourself lucky mister.

I also can't leave Apple. I've even tried the S7 edge, but it's not an iPhone. I have my iPhone, Apple watch, macbook, iPad and Apple TV).
