What's the likelihood of getting the phone delivered on the 16th if I preorder as soon as the site becomes available at 8:01?
I suppose it all depends on stock levels, how soon your order goes through and what colour you go for. The blacks are going to sell out fastest.
Perfect- anxious as previously I pre-ordered my 6+ 2 hours after the site went up and had to wait weeks. Looking good this year as I should make the 8:01 pre-order time.
Hope it pans out ok. My advice is use the Apple Store app and pay with Apple Pay if you can.
O2 give you £230 for trade in currently if anyone has a 64GB 6 and are upgrading as selling mine through them due to a higher price quote than CPW and CeX and because my contract is with them

I've literally got no need for the 128GB model as 64GB is enough but 32GB isn't enough... I'm selling my 64GB 6+ to a family member so between the money from that, what I've saved and another £100 from various places I'll be OK but it's still a steep price increase, 128GB or not!
Also I'm so glad for every launch we have this little UK community form, it makes the whole experience so much better & I would never not take part in one of these!

I locked in £390 with MusicMagpie last week for my 64GB 6S.
Guttered about the price hikes though as I think I'll have to drop back down to the base model this year of 32GB. I can't justify the extra £100 for the 128GB as I currently don't even consume the 64GB.

Anyone looking at the Upgrade Scheme through Apple? Seem's extraordinarily expensive, or is that just me?
i thought it was 0 APR? haven't looked at it properly like but it includes Apple Care?
Yeah I didn't look at it deeply, maybe I should have. It just seemed expensive. Think I was looking at the Plus and it started at 32GB for around £39 - you've gotta go get yourself a sim only on top of that though, so you're easily looking at £50+ a month.
the prices are crap. as a 64gb iphone 6 user i'm dismayed that the cheapest option which isn't a storage downgrade is £80 more than expected. i would have considered the 32gb if it stayed at last year's entry price point but not what it is now.

I am so disappointed with the price point. £819 for the 7+ 128GB is just ridiculous. £120 gain on what I paid for my 6+ 64gb a year ago. I have upgraded for the past 2 years and this forum is what gets me so excited about it and I really enjoy everybody else's excitement.
I really don't know whether I will be pre-ordering this year its a lot of money that i'd need to fork out. With paying for my professional exams and courses I don't know whether I can do it.

Think I'll likely stick to upgrading with either Vodafone or wait until my minimum term is up and check out o2 Refresh with their 12 month early upgrade option.
Apple's iPhone Upgrade Program seems appealing but once you factor in a decent SIMO tariff it won't be much cheaper I'd imagine.

Has any one seen any link for phone reservation where you can select time to pick up the phone and pay there in store , like apple have done previously in UK ... I can't seem to find any thing

Sadly due to work I may not be able to pre order this year. Gutted doesn't even come close.
I'm also torn between jet or normal black. The shiney coating will be a total scratch magnet
