Going to go 7 Plus Jet Black 128GB, can't wait until Friday's pre-orders :)

Hi all, I've just gone on fonebank.com and they are offering me £328 for my iPhone 6 Plus 64 gig......has anyone had any experience with this company? Seems a very good price to me and I have 14 days to send it back so would rather do it now if possible in the hope I will get the new phone next Friday. I would wait to be safe but don't want the risk of price going down loads.

Any advise please? Should I wait or go for it now?
Getting £430 for my phone from Music Magpie with 28 days to send in

Is anyone spending the ludicrous £920 for a 256gb 7+?

I knew the prices would increase, but a £100 increase on the + line was not expected...

I was intending to buy rose gold 256GB 7 plus. But ouch, £919 hurts. So I either get to buy outright and stick with 128GB or sell my soul to vodafone for another year and get the 256 but it all depends on their pricing and tariffs. Can't really make a decision till then.

Tariffs are going to ridiculous.

My current 6S 64GB is £31 per month (with £150 upfront) I doubt I'll see that again!

I remember you from the thread last year - ha.

Fair enough, something tells me though that the prices on contract are going to be pretty steep... :( Good luck if you get it.

I'm looking at a going from a 6 to a 7 plus how do you plus people manage with the size. Especially you guys that have to fit it in your Jean pockets etc

I'm in the exact same position.

I love the idea of the Plus from the perspective of having the bigger screen, but can't quite seem to convince myself 100% that it's the right way to go. The majority of time, my phone is sat on my desk at work, or sat somewhere handy at home. However, being a bloke, I do have to stick it in my pocket when I'm out and about, and for that reason I'm still leaning towards the standard 7. Even with my 6, I'm aware of when I have it in my pocket, and am always being cautious not to do anything to risk damaging it. That can only be worse with a bigger phone.

Pains me to miss out on the dual lens camera etc. though. ......

Had the plus for a year now and I'm totally used to it. Mind it's easier to take it out of my jeans pocket when I bend down to put my shoes on! Don't think I could go back

I was thinking of sitting this year out ........and then the Apple bring out the trade in programme ...... and then I see I can trade in with envirofone for £425 (including 5% code) so now I will prob upgrade.

Not even watched the keynote yet but think possibly upgrading space grey 6s 128gb to 7+ 128gb - prob in jet back. Not sure about the larger phone but I feel I am starting to need a larger keyboard.

Really want a watch too though.......

Im going for the 128GB Black 7. I couldn't deal with the micro scratches of the jet black, reminds me to much of the scratching on iPods.

Annoyed the prices have gone up. The storage increase kind of negates it a way though as a 128GB 7 at launch is the same price as 6S 128GB was at launch. At least thats what i'm saying to myself.

I suppose you can try the plus as don't you get 14 days

Also if I collect from store do you pay when you collect or on the app

I'm upgrading from an iPhone 5 so haven't bought a new phone for 4 years. Is buying the iphone 7 out right and putting my giffgaff sim inside the best/cheapest way to go about buying it? I don't want a contract. Thanks

Yes, I dare say that's true.

Not sure about the collect from store thing, sorry. I'm keen to find out if those buying outright are actually able to preorder this Friday, for instore collection on the 16th. Wasn't an option when I bought my 6 two years ago, but another member suggested they had been able to do this last year with the 6S.

i preordered the 6s last year and collected at Apple Store at 8.01 on launch day. I bought outright, unlocked.

It's going to be a 128GB Black 7 for me. I was going to go for the 256GB, but the increased cost doesn't seem worth it for me.

The currency fluctuation doesn't account for all of the increase. I mean, other manufacturers have slapped on £50 at most.

I think it is just the Brexit drop, GBP has dropped somewhere around 15% against the USD since the referendum.

Old price for the 64GB 6s was £619, new price is £699 which is a 13% increase.

iPhone 6S+ 64GB, Gold, Unlocked. Best price £410 via https://www.compareandrecycle.co.uk/mobile-phones/apple-iphone-6s-plus-64gb

Anyone know anywhere where I can get more for it?
You'll have to wait 10 days for payment with them.
[doublepost=1473287210][/doublepost]64GB 6S + user here.

I've just realised that if I get a 256GB 7S+, I can store all 7 series (24 episodes per series) of The West Wing in HD, that my good lady wife gifted me last Christmas from iTunes.

That's a major selling point for me right there!

What's next!? :D
