I'm in a bit of a dilemma with my issue which differs slightly from how you modified your order in store after reserving online. I checked my Manchester stores for an iPhone 7 + JB 128gb after 10:00pm and they had availability at M/c Arndale, no black just JB. I could follow the order procedure and pick up tomorrow (thurs) but as usual I have to pay with my stored card detail when I want to use £500 worth of Apple Vouchers I built up over a couple of years birthdays Xmas etc. Can I change my payment in store upon collection from £819 of credit card to £500 vouchers and remaining amount part cash part credit card. I can't afford to get this wrong, I'll be out on the streets. Also this £500 figure I'm anticipating a bit, hoping for £100 or so on Monday 17 my birthday to take me to this figure so how long can I stretch out collection. Any advice really appreciated.
On apple site, u can use both vouchers and a credit card on the sane transaction. If paying in store, u can do the same too
Great thanks for that and your prompt reply. When I went through the process using the Apple Store App all I saw was the credit card info and the request for the verification code on reverse of card. Is there another step (page) that allows voucher info, if so, I'd have to wait after Monday and of course the M/c stores or now showing unavailable although Liverpool and Meadowhall still had some a few mins ago. Do you know if there's a time limit between ordering and going in store to pick up.
Well finally I managed to reserve a nice shiny 7+ 128gb Jet Black for collection later today.... That soon went sour when the boss gave me a new job for later today meaning I have no chance of getting back before close today.

The t&cs state item must be picked up by designated date and time. Does anybody know what sort of timescale they give you, ideally I would want to pick up and pay with vouchers cash and credit on Tues 18/10, anybody remember gap between reservation day/time and max pick up date/time.

That is a bummer. Good you have given the heads up to local forum members. Can you remember the max time you were given between reservation and pickup.
Reserved at 6:02, collection between 8-8:15pm which was the last slot if that's what you mean. I'll be phoning to cancel in 5 minutes
They give you 3 hours from your collection time. However, even after a cancelled appointment they will still sell you one if you ask nicely.

I asked very nicely unfortunately they said they could only keep the phone for 3 hours past and I won't be able to collect until Saturday. I waited this long perhaps O2 will have some before I manage to get a reservation again

Are you using click and collect or a reservation?
If you are using click and collect and paying upfront then they will hold the phone for a few days because you have already paid for it outright. Just ring the store and let them know that you won't be able to pick it up for a few days.
If you are just reserving and are paying in the store they will only hold it for 3 hours before selling it to another customer.
Still frustrated here. Trying to order 7+, 128 or 256, in either of the two black options, on iPhone upgrade program since launch with no luck. May just skip this cycle and keep my 6+ another year. :-(
There's def an option to add a gift code on the payment page.
If you pay online for instore pick-up - u have 21 days to collect it. After 21 days it will automatically be "returned" and your payment method refunded.

Thanx shanghaichica I want to pay in store, vouchers, credit card and cash if possible and can't afford to get it wrong. I nearly bought last night using the buy it now option on the upgrade page on the app for a JB 256gb plus at M/c Arndale but could only see the credit card option with my stored card and the request to enter my verification code on back of card so have been checking the reserve in store now for Manchester's x2 stores. I'm upgrading from a 5s so I've waited this long, just a few more days will have to do. I get them to apply screen protector in store and a light case.
When I ordered my iPhone 7+ on the 4th Oct the information page gave an estimate delivery of 3-4 weeks. I'm using my SE so I'm ok with the wait. What I don't understand is on the order page my estimated delivery still states 3-4 weeks but have the dates as 4-9th November. The 4-9th Nov dates would actually be 4-5 weeks estimated delivery. Why don't Apple state the correct estimate at the time of ordering?

3-4 weeks means business days mon-fri and excludes weekends i would imagine?
But youll probably get it earlier than that anyway as some have had theirs much earlier than that.
It's ships in 3-4 weeks not delivered in 3-4 weeks.
A week is added on for shipping time from China to your door.
3-4 weeks for it to dispatch and then and at least a week for delivery after that
All the deliveries that have come in over the last month have taken 5 days +. My 7+ JB left on 27/9 and arrived 3/10
