Just gone to preparing to dispatch here too.

Apple put an auth hold on PayPal for the money at 17:42 and just over an hour later it changed to preparing for dispatch.

What? You don't get that information when reserving. Whatever your window is, that's when you go to the store and collect it.

Mine's on Friday between 0815-0830.

Im quite confused, this isn't a reserve in store (upgrade program) (pay in store?) order?

I've got the plus but opted for store pick up instead of home delivery, they've charged £1 auth to amex

Ok My money was taken at 18:50 so perhaps soon my status will change to preparing to dispatch soon.
 
Where are you looking for these changes?

Via order status on the Apple website (Account - Your Orders.) In my original order confirmation email, there's a hyperlink which should let you check it. I was going in there to change my delivery address (which also worked) and I'm pretty sure it changed from 27-29th to 20-22nd whilst I was viewing it.

Sorry!! Meant the other post where guy said date had moved up!

Mine is still also stuck on 27-29 Sept, iP7+ Black 128GB. Here's hoping they will bump mine too, although I know i would have been slightly later than others since my Apple Pay failed on me and I had to put the card details including shipping and billing address separately.

On another note, I feel sorry for those with the jet black, I anticipate that it will quickly become the least popular second hand phone just because of the cosmetic damage. Funny how it went from the most popular to possibly the least. Let's see though, maybe I'm wrong.

I'm buying mine outright and picking it up Friday. Why would we need tracking information etc?
 
Anyone ordered through Vodafone? I added a second line ( 7+ Matte Black ) at lunch time... only had two emails so far to say I've added the second line/that they will deliver my order to the specified address but nothing else as of yet nor mention of my package and phone.. strange

I have reserved using the link earlier in thread like you, hopefully we can buy outright on the day.

But have also opted for the plus model through pick up in store, I assume I pay online and pick up on the day with ID
 
They usually with iPhones will never leave with the neighbour. Apple are (supposed to be) really strict with them. I have asked many a time and the answer is no way, not with high value Apple stuff.

They dropped off at nearest UPS access point when ordered my Apple Watch, not sure if it's the same for iPhones though.

The whole thing has confused me. Last year we just reserved for in store pick up. Got our time slot and turned up in our window and paid in store. I'm starting to think that the one in the app, you pay and then they ship to the store where you pick up. Like click and collect and the reservation is just for the upgrade programme.I've just settled for home delivery as the other options are confusing me.
 
My iP 7+ black 128Gb has just moved from delivery 27-29th to 20-22nd. Let's hope it keeps coming forward!!!

When I ordered my iPhone 6 with Santander debit 2 years ago there was no £1 hold fee, so I shouldn't be worried if I don't have that again this year right?
 
Ordered direct from Apple UK at 11am gmt iphone7+ 256gb jet black - estimate shipping November!! Not even October...

Did you use Apple Pay? On my Apple Wallet I can see that it has been charged the full amount, even though I'm still in a processing stage. Either way I'm happy that at least payment went through.

Okay. Still confused as someone else replied to my post and said that it might be a different process via the app. I'll keep an eye on my orders.
 
Spent what felt like ten minutes refreshing the website, went to the app and saw my matte black 128GB 7+ go from 6-8 days to 4-10th Oct by the time I'd gone from basket to paying for it. Gutted but I guess I can wait!

Hm.

I just looked on the website and some 7's are available for pickup in my local Apple Store, some aren't. Surely that means they already have the stock and only a certain amount are available.

I think the only difference this year is that they require your payment details when reserving.
