iPhone 7/7+ - UK Orders & Dispatches Thread

For those with a reservation for the upgrade programme who are wondering if you can pay in full instead, if you take a look at the FAQ link in the reservation confirmation in the Apple Store app, there is a question about changing the payment method for reservations.

I did pay with Apple Pay, but sadly no transaction for it yet.
 
I've preordered black 7 plus 256gb from o2 on an upgrade. But in myo2 order details it says my address for delivery but then underneath says delivery option not applicable? I've never pre ordered before so is that normal? I just want a delivery date.

Where did you see this deal-the upfront cost for that amount of data is £149.99....

I think the only difference this year is that they require your payment details when reserving.

Sons iPhone 7+ 128GB Jet Black ordered first thing, due 23-30 Sep.

Other sons 7 128GB Matt Black due 16-Sep.
Likewise my wife's 7 128GB Rose Gold.
Likewise my own 7+ 128GB Silver.

Sea Blue leather covers for both 7 and 7+ due 23-Sep, so will follow...

So I called CPW at about 4pm as I'd had no order confirmation come through from my order at 8am.

I was told my jet black 7 would be delayed by around a month due to no stock at launch.

I quickly cancelled my order and have now reserved a black 128gb 7 for in store collection on the 16th.

Credit check is done and payment has been taken.

I'll be getting there first in line to make sure there are no issues on the day.

I guess that made my decision about which black to go for.

Listen, you book a hotel to pay on arrival - they reserve £99 (or whatever the cost) on your account but they don't actually debit the money until you check out. Same in this instance, they reserve the funds on your account to ensure you're 'good for it' then when your phone is dispatched, they'll actually process the payment. If you had a card balance of, say, £100 before today, it'll still be £100 now, yes?
 
Managed to get on the app at 08:06 (after two of my colleagues in the same room)

When you did place your upgrade? I ordered a new connection from o2 this morning around 08:05am and after I'd processed the payment and did my credit check on the last page it mentioned the 16th as my delivery date.

Nothing showing under my02 at the moment but I've received all the legal documents via email and the payment is pending on my credit card (available balance is less the upfront fee of £189.99).
 
Those black iPhones are in really short supply\High demand. I thought that they would go quick but not back ordered until November. Thats what I was telling my husband, with the iPhone you have to get in quick and pre-order otherwise you'll be waiting for months. I remember when I got my 6 plus at the end of November 2014. I'd waited so long and even then I could only get the 128GB in space grey. I'd waited 2 months still couldn't get it in gold.
