Here's what mine is saying (I ordered through the app, paid via Apple Pay and got my confirmation email at 8:08 a.m.)

Listen, you book a hotel to pay on arrival - they reserve £99 (or whatever the cost) on your account but they don't actually debit the money until you check out. Same in this instance, they reserve the funds on your account to ensure you're 'good for it' then when your phone is dispatched, they'll actually process the payment. If you had a card balance of, say, £100 before today, it'll still be £100 now, yes?
Yes it is October delivery. How did you manage that? Mine says October.
Huh, my CloudMagic said I got the confirmation at 8:04, outlook.com is saying 8:07, either way that's earlier than you and I'm still on 27-29! 🙁Here's what mine is saying (I ordered through the app, paid via Apple Pay and got my confirmation email at 8:08 a.m.)

OMG you just won't get it and I'm actually having to chime in to this.First off don't be rude and tell me to "listen"
£1000 bank balance
available funds £1000
i just purchased an item for £900
bank balance £1000
available funds £100
i can now only spend £100 my bank will not let me go any further because £900 has been "taken" out of my account.
How hard can it be to understand!
Did you use Apple Pay? On my Apple Wallet I can see that it has been charged the full amount, even though I'm still in a processing stage. Either way I'm happy that at least payment went through.

When you did place your upgrade? I ordered a new connection from o2 this morning around 08:05am and after I'd processed the payment and did my credit check on the last page it mentioned the 16th as my delivery date.
Nothing showing under my02 at the moment but I've received all the legal documents via email and the payment is pending on my credit card (available balance is less the upfront fee of £189.99).

"Taken" means the transaction is complete. "Pending" means the transaction is not complete.
£900 has not been taken from your account. Your bank still has it, they just won't let you spend it.
That this matters is because whether funds have been authorised vs. been taken, Cupertinologists can attempt to gauge what is about to ship and when.
thats what i want to knowSomeone with pick up from store status has changed to prepare for shipment?
My confirmation email was around 11.30 this morning, also had the legal documents and "the thank you for your o2 order " email but nothing's gives me a date. I've done live chat with o2 tonight but all I got was " it might be in the 16th or later " I kinda guessed that lol.
Anyone ordered through Vodafone? I added a second line ( 7+ Matte Black ) at lunch time... only had two emails so far to say I've added the second line/that they will deliver my order to the specified address but nothing else as of yet nor mention of my package and phone.. strange
thats what i want to know
My bank have royally screwed me over thanks to their fraud prevention. Struggling to get a card authorised for payment at the moment 🙁
FFS! It hasn't been taken! It's been reserved!
Go into your iTunes account, change your credit card, and Apple will reserve £1 against your new card. That doesn't mean it's been taken, it's a check to ensure your card is valid. Just like today they've reserved £xxx on your account to ensure you're card is good for that sum. If your phone isn't dispatched in a weeks time, chances are that sum will become availability in your available credit again until such time as the phone is dispatched. I worked for a credit card company for 23 years .... how hard can it be for you to understand?
