Hahaha, I go on holiday 17th and come back 1st October, mine is 27th-29th too. Gonna be delivered to work and I have some real jokers in the office!

Ordered via the app using Apple Pay with a Halifax card. Still showing as processing and checking my account, nothing showing as pending but I've not had any attempted calls to me by Halifax.

All OK, hopefully!

Likewise, my confirmation came in at 8:04 or 8:07 (depending on which app I believe) and I'm still on 27-29.

When is your delivery date?

Halifax didn't even call me they just sent me a text and asked if it was me who had used my card to make an online payment to Apple for £819. Then they said we blocked it for fraud prevention, please wait 10 minutes before attempting to make the transaction. It's gone through now.

I don't think they do because the speaker grill which used to be just for calls is now also a loud speaker and seemingly bigger as a result. Worth checking, but 80% sure you'll need new screen protectors.

Totally agree plus the fact that it's gonna be a HUGE finger print magnet just like the back of the black iPhone 3G was and also the black back of the iPhone 4! What were Apple thinking?!!!!

You're not alone. Used apple pay with my HSBC credit card. Nothing showing as pending for me either...

I'm on the verge of cancelling mine. Have one for 26 Sept- 3 Oct but then ordered the matte black which is 4 Oct- 10 Oct. Will make final decision before the end of the weekend.

As nice as the jet black is it was never really a consideration for me. I'm a little OCD when it comes to the back of my phone so any little scratches or scuffs tend to annoy me. It looks like a bit of a scratch magnet and I do wonder if it might affect the resale value when it comes to next year...

My mum is technically in the house, if it's going to be delivered by UPS, and there's a big chance it'll be shipped directly from China, then she will probably miss the delivery day if it gets delivered early...if it's dpd I can order it to be delivered at a later date so no problems there.

Says "Delivers 16 Sep by Standard Shipping" and still processing.

Spoke with a Halifax rep just now and she said still nothing showing as pending on the account, but confirmed I could potentially receive a text for confirmation.

I ordered a matte black 7 128gb and a silver 7 Plus 128gb, so only thing I can think of is the slightly more complex order has kept it in the processing queue...

That sucks! I had my confirmation at 8:06 but still showing 27th 🙁 hopefully it moves!

It won't get delivered early, carriers are under instruction not to deliver till the 16th
