iPhone 7/7+ - UK Orders & Dispatches Thread

Is anyone undecided re 128gb or 256gb?

1: get the 256 and put all my iTunes on it, cancel Apple Music or
2: get the 128 and keep Apple Music?..
 
I ordered the iPhone 7 Plus Matte Black 128GB with 08:09am confirmation email & it is 27-29 Sept delivery!

I also ordered Apple Watch Series 2 with Black Nylon strap and that is being delivered on launch day!

Do I open the watch when it arrives or wait and have a mega unboxing?...

I wouldn't get too excited. I think all Apple UK retail stock for Jet Black is going to ship direct from China, so that's at least 7 days after shipping that it'll arrive.

Great news. Has anyone a definitive list of which third party resellers lock (carphone warehouse, most networks), and which do not (John Lewis, 3)?

Are people with Very JB Plus orders seeing movement?

Either way it has to be us at the front of the queue.

Just got off the phone with Apple, if you used a Credit Card to pay for your phone, it won't shop up at least 3 days before dispatch. They should only have a pound reserved at the mo.
 
I got on the app at just after 8:01 and at the point my choice of 7+ 128gb Black was showing for delivery 16th Sept, however by the time I had entered my work address for delivery, the dates had slipped - confirmation email arrived at 08:09am. The delivery date slipping as i was ordering wound me up no end - surely the system should hold stock as you're progressing through the checkout process!!

However, things have turned slightly as my initial date of 27th - 29th Sept has moved forward to 20th - 22nd Sept!!

Dispatch from Apple is when they send it via carrier, not when it gets released from a warehouse in China.

Last 2 years I ordered the 6 64gb and 6s 64gb (£619, the 6s was for my gf).

This year though there's the £819 7 Plus 129GB (Black). And I also have the Watch 2 on order for launch day delivery, who knows if that will tip it over the edge.

I had the same issue. Are you with Halifax? Mine eventually got authorised just before 7 and the transaction is in my pending transactions. My order is still showing as processing items though. I hope i still get my launch day delivery.

The credit card is Bank of Scotland but it's the same crew of idiots. It took over 30 minutes to get through to their fraud team who apparently were getting more calls than they were expecting. They also had to apologise for not contacting me to advise of the block on my card. It's all fixed now though and after a quick call to Apple my order is going nicely! :)

Has yours gone to preparing for shipping?
 
I think I must be the only person which is happy with the current delivery date of 27-29 sept. I'm away on holiday as of 19th and I get back on the 26th. If it changes to an earlier date I would be royally screwed :)

I sometimes used Very for other purchases when they send out £50 off electronics etc and in my experience even items not on pre-order. Very are useless at a, keeping to a predicted delivery date and b, tracking parcels/deliveries. Good luck to anyone ordering from Very!

Interesting. I ordered (email confirmation at 8.08am, seemingly before you) and mine is still 6-8 business days to ship, 27-29 Sep to deliver... (same model/size/colour)
