Major fail. I got in on my iPad but even though I checked my Apple account had my home address, my ATT account had the post office box. So tried to pick up at a store option and none of the 7 in my area had availability. I tried changing from jet black to black but by then, too late. Well, this won't be happening.

Ok, its just not me then.

I go to my account, manage this device, upgrade this phone, circle shows, then then it shows a page with no upgrade option and the continue button is greyed out, then an oops something went wrong message.

When I preordered my iPhone 6 they had their phone lines open and I was done in ten minutes while their site was still crashing. How can you not have customer service available on a preorder night?

That's the exact thing that happens to me when I try to use Chrome on my mac and Safari on my iPhone.... the only one that has existed longer is my original Safari for mac page when I was exploring my account's site before midnight..... Was confused why the phone's were already there listed as iPhone 7 pre order... continued and stuck.

Don't understand why their phones aren't on at all... Haven't ever done this before thru Sprint's site. Have you ever seen this before? Hoping I can place an order soon.... shipping dates for all the phones are the 16 except all the Jet black ones which are in Oct.

Odd. Mine went through just fine, even though I changed carriers to Verizon. My advice is just to reserve an in-store pickup for a fully paid model and see if they can take care of it in the store.

Apple is now accepting pre-orders for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus through its online storefront and through the Apple Store app. Pre-orders are being accepted in all first wave launch countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, UAE, the UK, US Virgin Islands and the US.

All of the major U.S. carriers, Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile, are accepting pre-orders for the new devices. Major online retailers including Best Buy and Target are also accepting pre-orders starting on September 9.

Apple has said supplies of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will be constrained, so it's a good idea to pre-order a device right away if you're hoping to for a launch-day delivery. Jet Black iPhone 7 Pluses had a delivery date of September 26 to October 3 right when pre-orders launched.

The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus come in 32, 128, and 256GB configurations, with five color options: Silver, Gold, Rose Gold, Black, and Jet Black, the new glossy shade. Jet Black is only available in 128 and 258GB.

In the United States, iPhone 7 pricing starts at $649 for the 32GB model. The 128 and 256GB models are priced at $749 and $849, respectively.

iPhone 7 Plus starts at $769 for the 32GB model. The 128GB and 256GB models are priced at $869 and $969, respectively.

With the iPhone Upgrade Program, which allows users to get a new iPhone each year with AppleCare+ support, iPhone 7 pricing starts at $32.41 per month and iPhone 7 Plus pricing starts at $37.41 per month.

The earliest pre-orders will likely be delivered to customers on September 16, which is the official launch date for the two devices.

Got my Jet Black 7 Plus through Verizon. You have to log out of your account, get into the. Preorder screen, select your device and then log back in FML. Mine delivers by Sep 23rd

Did anyone have any success with the Upgrade Program in the UK? The link for making a reservation was broken (directed to the US Apple home page) until about 8:40am, and as soon as it was up every store was sold out of 7 Plus except Rose Gold or Gold...

Insanely frustrating...

T-Mobile's site never came up. I have been on since 1:45 central time ... Time for bed, I've got an "appt" already set up with my local sales rep tomorrow morning when the black 7+ will likely be shipping in February of next year.

I'm totally screwed on the upgrade program. Not one store in PA or NJ has jet black or black in the plus and only a couple have black in the regular 7. Guess I'm waiting past launch day for the first time ever.

Same exact boat, live in eastern pa. Had every phone since 4 on day one......till now. Don't even have an order in

Well hallelujah. As soon as i posted this, I tried ATT again. I was able to "pay to upgrade," got to the final screen at checkout and it crapped out again. However, since I was now "eligible" for an upgrade, I was able to order my iPhone 7 128GB Black through the Apple Store app with delivery on 16 Sep. Good night and good luck.

I ended up reserving the black 7 128 at the Lehigh Valley store. It's too damn late to figure anything out, but if I find out I can get the + in black sometime in September I'll see if I can cancel the reservation. Just didn't want to have to make an extra payment on my 6s bc Apple doesn't have enough phones.

Not true. I ordered on my iPad via wifi. Worked just fine.

Unfortunately delivery somewhere between Oct 4-10 for 7+ black 128GB, having ordered by 12:15 PDT. Not happy with that, but oh well.

same here, using the ipad and wifi, i was able to get to my cart and order, all the while my cell would not load the apple store app...

Exactly the same here (UK). It says "ships in 6 to 8 business days" but delivery for 27-29 Sep. The UK website was down until at least 8.10am and the app opened up at around 8.05am - my email come through at 8.08am and I'm pissed that i'm not getting launch day!

The store opened with those delivery dates for both black versions. Only the Silver and two gold models where available for 16 September. It may still come sooner. They may just be gauging were to send limited stock.

I only ever preordered the 6 and had no problems. The reason I remember it so clearly was I asked the guy if he was from Ireland because of his accent and he stated he was from the Philippines and was happy that I thought he spoke good English and we talked for about 15 minutes after the order was placed.

I've never tried to call sprint after hours before so I'm not sure if this is a regular thing

Black 256 7 to be delivered on 9/16. Ordered through Verizon site. They had a promo offering a bill credits for 2 years that totaled up to 650 with eligible trade in but didn't want to waste time reading through that.

Call them up tomorrow and say you want the promo but weren't offered it. My guess is that once you get to a manager you can get it added retroactively. :)

another tidbit: my applepay would not work, it kept saying there was an issue with address (highlighted the address in red and with a red "!" choose my itunes default payment cc, and it worked. 1 watch ordered! I wonder what is up with that? Servers or my costco citi visa? hmmm!

I see now that it requires you get the phone on monthly installments and keep the phone on Verizon for 2 years. My iPhone 6 would allow me to get the discount. Only this is i paid in full so no idk if they'll be able to apply it

Guess no one likes the Rose Gold. That seems to be the only color available for the upgrade program in any of the stores in Illinois.

Considering that Apple knows how many people are registered for the upgrade program, they should of had an idea of how many phones they'd need to service the upgrades. Pitiful planning on their part in regards to inventory management at local stores.
Ditto for Florida. I really wanted that jet black but no such luck. I wonder whether it's poor planning or purposeful frenzy-making.

Trying to use Apple upgrade for a 7 Plus, T-Mobile, 256, in Gold, but NO preorders are available for a 7 Plus with T-Mobile in NJ USA

For the most part, only women are going to buy the rose gold. That already cuts your target market down by half. Then there are the women that aren't girly who want any of the other 4 colors. That cuts it down even further. I'm just glad that I'm as girly as it gets and got the rose gold one in under 2 mins without any hassle. ;)
