I'm totally screwed on the upgrade program. Not one store in PA or NJ has jet black or black in the plus and only a couple have black in the regular 7. Guess I'm waiting past launch day for the first time ever.
Yes, keep doing it and it will just reserve a phone for you and you finish it tommorow.I keep getting a god damn error at the AT&T check account screen via the Apple app!?! Anyone else having this issue?!

Same thing happened to me but I ordered from sprint. Never seen that before.The apple app is telling me they reserved a phone for me and will email me when the problem with att is solved.
Course...apple still shows the same model available on launch day... stupid Verizon upgrade plan.Ordered through Verizon. First ten minutes the countdown was negative, and the link kept going to the page to sign up for updates. But I got it. 128 Jet Black, estimated delivery 10/5 but I'm hopeful it's being conservative!
Just ordered mine. Done. Regular black, 128gb AT&T. Says it will deliver Sept. 16th when I purchased it. But when I got my confirmation email it says it ships in 6 to 8 days with a delivery date of Sept 27-29
If you are on the Apple Upgrade Program you are screwed. No black or jet black available on day 1. Apple did this with the watches.
If all of your product isn't going to be available on release day DONT release it!!
They almost always deliver on the promised date or earlier. They lean towards the side of caution. Every year there are lot of reports of people getting their phones earlier than Apple promised but rarely are there any issues of late deliveries.Preordered! WOOT! =) Now lets see if they can deliver on the promised date.
