I'm totally screwed on the upgrade program. Not one store in PA or NJ has jet black or black in the plus and only a couple have black in the regular 7. Guess I'm waiting past launch day for the first time ever.

Ugh. Bought via app. Kept asking me to enter my AT&T credentials then told be I owed on my AT&T next plan. I already am aware of that and was okay paying full price. When clicked continue put me into a set of recommended accessories and no obvious way to get to cart. By the time I figured it out, I had added 4 iPhone 7s to my cart. Grrr. My delivery date went from Sept 16 to Sept 27. Thanks Apple!

Managed to snag a Jet Black 7+ 128gb with a delivery between 9/26-10/3. Not release day but I will take it.

Jet black 7+ seems to be the one everyone went after as it is already saying shipping between 4-6 weeks now. Almost all the regular 7's still say release day.

If you are on the Apple Upgrade Program you are screwed. No black or jet black available on day 1. Apple did this with the watches.

If all of your product isn't going to be available on release day DONT release it!!

Ordered 4 - iPhone 7P 128GB in Rose Gold, Black and Jet Black and ship dates are anywhere from Sep 16th (Rose Gold) to 4-6 weeks for Jet Black.

Ordered through Verizon. First ten minutes the countdown was negative, and the link kept going to the page to sign up for updates. But I got it. 128 Jet Black, estimated delivery 10/5 but I'm hopeful it's being conservative!

Course...apple still shows the same model available on launch day... stupid Verizon upgrade plan.

Just ordered mine. Done. Regular black, 128gb AT&T. Says it will deliver Sept. 16th when I purchased it. But when I got my confirmation email it says it ships in 6 to 8 days with a delivery date of Sept 27-29

Apple store app wouldn't take my verizon credentials but they worked on verizon site and had to order through them. That was frustrating and it didnt give me a shipping time frame. 256 7 in black.....i already regret my choice lol

What a waste of my sleep and time. 1 minutes after the site opened, I was at the State pickup and Utah had already gone to unavailable. In just one minute? None must have been sent there along with most other states for the model and color I wanted. I'm on the upgrade plan and this does not work for me. I don't care about picking it up on the 16th. I just want to get one on order and if I have to wait several weeks so be it. I don't mind waiting my turn. There has to be a better system than this.

I don't think that was an Apple Upgrade issue. 3 minutes in, paid in full for 7 Plus Jet Black 256gb...sept 26-oct 3 shipping.

Preordered! WOOT! =) Now lets see if they can deliver on the promised date.

They almost always deliver on the promised date or earlier. They lean towards the side of caution. Every year there are lot of reports of people getting their phones earlier than Apple promised but rarely are there any issues of late deliveries.

FedEx and UPS are unfortunately very good at not accidentally delivering before launch day (Sept 16), but there's always a lucky few that slip through the system.
