iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus Now Available for Pre-Order

Was going for pre-order on 256gb matte black. Site was down for 10 mins, but apparently no store in CT was available for pickup except Greenwich. That disappeared during checkout, as did White Plains NY.

Apparently there wasn't a first come, first served option for this and it was fingers crossed FFA...

Actually, the Verizon app allowed you to preorder early. At least for me, confirmation email at 2:05 Eastern.

Really not sure if Apple does this on purpose or they are just plain stupid. Every year is the same problem.
- Refreshed both apple.com and Apple Store app every second. It only came live to me a 2:04AM CST
- Stupid process to check with ATT when I was paying full for the phones
- Got a 7 Plus Jet Black 256GB on ATT with delivery between Sep 26 - Oct 3
- Got a 7 Plus Matte Black 256GB on ATT for my wife and it asked me if I wanted to pay $10 for faster shipping. WTF!!!! I added faster shipping and got delivery between Sep 23 - Sep 27

I will be happy the day you are able to buy a fully unlocked no strings attached phone on the day of launch. I am paying $1000 for a stupid phone and still need to get verified by ATT.

Snagged a Matte Black at 12:07 from the store ships in 6-8 days with a Sept 27-29 delivery date. My guess is Day one, but time will tell. Last time I was this early they bumped the date the next day to launch day. We'll see...I can't wait for stealth black iPhone 7

Well, ar 3:03 AM EDT, I had my matte black 128 GB 7 Plus (AT&T Next Every Year) ordered for day 1 delivery on next Friday the 16th, but then Apple Pay wouldn't work. Then the app changed back to offline, (I'm ordering with the Apple Store app on my 6S Plus) and when it came back up, the shipping date had slipped to Sep 27. I canceled the order and started over just to be sure, and the shipping date slipped to Oct 10. Sigh. Oh well, I ordered it anyway.

If it's any consolation, those dates tend to move up as they get closer.

Begrudginly ordered through ATT after I saw ships in 2-3 weeks from Apple. Finished my order for 7plus in Jet Black 128, and just now noticed ship date from ATT is between Oct 14-21!!!!! During the order process I must have mistaken the October for September, on account of logic, and the fact it was only 20 minutes after orders opened. ARGH, I should have just taken the more trustworthy Apple shipment.
