Preordered a "Black" 256GB iPhone 7 Plus from Verizon but my deliver date is 9/23. Went with the 256GB in hopes that not as many people ordered the larger size.

Ordered two AT&T Pluses on the Apple Store app. The 128 black will be here September 16, the 256 jet black not until October 26-31.

Yea looks like that's available. It's the Plus black models that were immediately not available for the upgrade program. If not immediately maybe for just a minute. Surely we agree this is unacceptable for the world's largest tech company.

I got a 256 7+ in Matte Black for store pick up on launch day

the app totally screwed me in terms of delivery dates -- had to enter the same info 3 times and kept kicking me out. went to the store via my macbook and BOOM! was done right away -- except now we are looking at early Oct delivery...horrible.

Apple is now accepting pre-orders for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus through its online storefront and through the Apple Store app. Pre-orders are being accepted in all first wave launch countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, UAE, the UK, US Virgin Islands and the US.

All of the major U.S. carriers, Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile, are accepting pre-orders for the new devices. Major online retailers including Best Buy and Target are also accepting pre-orders starting on September 9.

Apple has said supplies of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will be constrained, so it's a good idea to pre-order a device right away if you're hoping to for a launch-day delivery. Jet Black iPhone 7 Pluses had a delivery date of September 26 to October 3 right when pre-orders launched.

The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus come in 32, 128, and 256GB configurations, with five color options: Silver, Gold, Rose Gold, Black, and Jet Black, the new glossy shade. Jet Black is only available in 128 and 258GB.

In the United States, iPhone 7 pricing starts at $649 for the 32GB model. The 128 and 256GB models are priced at $749 and $849, respectively.

iPhone 7 Plus starts at $769 for the 32GB model. The 128GB and 256GB models are priced at $869 and $969, respectively.

With the iPhone Upgrade Program, which allows users to get a new iPhone each year with AppleCare+ support, iPhone 7 pricing starts at $32.41 per month and iPhone 7 Plus pricing starts at $37.41 per month.

The earliest pre-orders will likely be delivered to customers on September 16, which is the official launch date for the two devices.

At this point F the pre-order via the app... frustrating as hell trying to go through the process while getting nothing but errors at the AT&T check screen! Now it says it's reserved but I never received an email yet about anything!

Guess I'll try to pick up a 7 Plus at a Apple Store next week SMFH

The only time I ever had a delivery date other than release day was with the iPhone 6. It was projected 2-3 weeks out and it came about 8 days after release. There is hope for all of you with delivery dates in mid October.

I'm so upset that I wasn't able to get a phone the day its released. I have to wait until October to get mine. I was trying to access the store at 3:01 EST and it wouldn't work until 3:08 and while checking out the times slipped two weeks! At least I got my watch through best buy.com and that'll be coming on launch day, at least some positivity came out of this already stressful morning, at least time to go to bed and get up for work in 3 hours.

is there a way to pay in store so I can sell my iPhone towards the 7? or is there any way I can sell my iphone 6s and put it towards the 7?

T-Mobile's website isn't working at all. Pick out the phone I want, click "upgrade" and then...nada. Oh well. I'll try my luck w the remaining launch day stock at local stores like always. Luckily I have Fridays off and can get down to a store right as they open, have always had luck that way.

Got in on AT&T about 5 minutes before release and they were saying the ship date was end of September. I passed on that.

I pushed my luck and ordered within 10 minutes of 12:01 PDT on Apple.com and I am 2-3 weeks out. iPhone 7 Plus unlocked to AT&T 128gb in Flat Black. Craaaazy. Might still try the store next Friday.

What's crazy, the word was that the pluses were in short supply. Was the same last year. You have to move quick and order from whichever site is up first(apple, carrier).

Go to hell Verizon. I want to pay FULL COST on an unlocked model, yet I'm being told I'm not "upgrade eligible." Uhh, FULL COST you morons. It's so stupid we can't just buy completely unlocked phones without the bs of getting carriers involved.
Certainly doesn't help your situation but T-Mobile doesn't make you do any of those checks. I ordered from the Apple Store app on my iPhone, chose the T-Mobile version and paid. No phone number required. If only Apple made the CDMA/Qualcomm/Verizon phone available this way then that would have been perfect.

FINALLY!! My God, that was painful. But, 7+ black, 256gb. Delivers between 9/27 and 9/29. <grumble>

I think that part of the problem was that AT&T was going to allow me to change the shipping address, but every time I did and tried to place my order they gave me an error. When I finally got through on Apple, after several timeouts, it told me that it had to ship to my billing address, and I couldn't change it. So I thought "whatever" and hit continue, and FINALLY went through to the Thank You, order has been placed screen.

Why give the option, AT&T, if you don't allow shipping to any other address!?

By the way, watch order went through without a hitch, delivery 9/16. Glad I did that separately.

I ordered right away so my hope is that the jet black 7+ is what they have the lowest supply of so they don't want to promise release date even though many will get it then. Maybe I am just being too hopeful.

I'm trying to remain that way. A little upset I couldn't select an in-store pick up, but I usually ask UPS or FedEx to hold my package at their store and I can pick it up early morning the day my package is set to arrive.

WHY do I need to verify eligibility with my carrier when I am paying FULL PRICE for an UNLOCKED phone. Can someone please explain this to me? This hasn't been the case with previous preorders.

Apple Store App started working for me at 3:04. Had Verizon 7+, 32gb, Black in my 'Favorites'. Enrolled in the Upgrade Program. Email confirmation at 3:09 for delivery on 9/16.

I've never seen so many people spending their money on something they apparently want so unhappy.

Don't mean to interrupt a flow in this thread, please feel free to direct me to another one. I just enrolled in the upgrade program tonight. Will I receive further information on making payments early or am I left to figure that out for myself?

Edit: Just wanted to know if I could make some early payments via Citizens One and how that was managed.

First world problems.

Weird, could not get through on Apple app (wifi) but did get through on Apple website. They charged me tax of course, when do they actually bill my credit card? Though it would be right away, I guess when shipped?

I'm so frustrated. I was able to easily grab my iPhone spot for the upgrade program, but can't find any way to easily buy an iPhone 7 outright as a gift. When I go through the steps to pay outright, it keeps telling me I need to enter my Verizon Wireless billing password, but it won't take my online password and IDK what they're talking about. If I'm buying an iPhone as a gift, why would I need to put in my own billing information?

This doesn't make any sense. I want an unlocked iPhone 7 without any carrier. What is the problem, exactly? I want to surprise my grandpa with a new iPhone. I was thinking about maybe adding it as a line to my existing account, but surely there are other people out there who just want to buy one unlocked to give as a gift? And my grandpa really wants to keep his landline phone number when it goes to Verizon, so IDK how I can do that without just taking the unlocked iPhone to the Verizon Store and having them figure it out. But I'm pretty sure I have to do that part with my grandpa since he owns the landline number and has used it since the 70s.

They really don't make it easy for people to buy gifts, especially if they don't have service yet! What an awful experience. I guess I won't be buying my grandpa his surprise gift. This makes me really pissed and sad. Especially because it has been difficult trying to talk to him about which model/color/etc he wants without him just going to buy it himself. I keep telling him I'm going to "help him" when I go to KC next weekend. And he's the kind of guy that if he knew in advance that I was doing this, he would absolutely refuse to let me buy it for him. So I have to surprise him or everything is ruined. This sucks.
