I'm sure any phone with a 1080p display and a new age processor would be faster than a quadhd amoled phone running real widgets, a file manager, maybe virtual reality and active multitasking .......
They got rid of the headphone 'for more versatility' but the phone is still the same thickness as the old iPhone 6S and offers nothing new anyway?

I maybe missing this, but how do you charge your phone and use the headphones at the same time: at the moment it's easy, but with the new headphones, as far as I can see impossible?

It's an easy test on a 6S , plug it into the 3.5mm followed by lighting port with an adapter . We will see reviews soon
That's too bad about the home button. What sorts of things can you program the home button to do with a deep press?
Good on Apple for including an adapter and selling them for only $9. This is going to be an interesting transition, but I agree with most of what Phil said, which has been mostly said before about this. It's time to move on, but my problem is that to not universal. But the thinking is this is a stopgap measure until Bluetooth becomes ubiquitous. Then eventually even the Lightning port will go away with wireless charging, with only a diagnostic port (or smart connector) on the back.

It'll hold up but is still more susceptible to scratches. For those wondering, it's very much similar to the Mac Pro. It won't show fingerprints as much as people might believe, but it will scratch. Imagine the Mac Pro's finish on an iPhone carried around all day.
If you're more concerned about fingerprints, get the jet black.
If you're more concerned about scratches, get the matte black.
If you're concerned about both, don't get the black.
Pro tip: none of these things in any way affect the benchmarks that show the Edge/Note 7 being left far behind a year old iphone.

If you want prove? wait until you see a comparison between Gears S3 vs Apple Watch, the Samsung single core will destroy the dual core from theWatch, Intel is the king PC cpu while Samsung is the king in mobile CPUs

I just told my sister who owns a Galaxy S7..look the iPhone 7 just came out and your camera from the S7 it's better than the one from the iPhone 7 xD! I got admit they added some intersting stuff to the camera but when it comes to photo quality..the S7 wins!

That's because "most" aren't headsets, they're just earbuds.
Nope, the S7 and S7 Edge (Exynos version) are actually faster than the iPhone 6s, if you want prove? I will post u some links from YouTube with speed comparison between the S7 and 6s, the Note 7 is slower because of the software I think? and hopefully will be fixed with a software update
How about you link the anandtech article showing them to be slower. Some kid on youtube doesn't really cut it for me, sorry.
I can tell you are inconfortable about the iPhone 7 being better than the s7 by the fact you care to bash the iPhone twice on the first page of this thread
