Dislike buttons are antisocial. Nothing false about my statement. Just being honest. Expressing my dissatisfaction in Apple. In big letters to drive the point home. Maybe you don't see it the same way. And. That's okay.
Your letters can't be big enough for me. Hope they are that big that they reach Cook & Co :D

this year is shaping up to be , if rumors are correct, one of the largest number of improvements ever, to wit: Double base memory, double max memory, increased battery life, stronger, sharper screen with better color, increased water proofing, increased dust proofing, Optical Image stabilization, new low light camera, improved flash, new duo lens system, improved speaker sound and volume, improved microphones, new faster, more powerful processor, new digital lightning earbuds with two way interaction and other benefits, new color choices, and that's just what has been leaked.
Was there a rumor about the optical image stabilization? I was wondering about that earlier in the thread...
I'm hoping the video optical image stabilization of the 6s+ is going to come down to the smaller 4.7" iPhone 7.

The 7 shapes up to be a fantastic device. Lots of substantial features and upgrades in a rock solid, refined 3rd generation body. I'm definitely in.

Technology-wise, next year's "anniversary" iPhone will probably be less of an upgrade than the 7, but the very new form factor will of course sell a lot of units.

LOL, one thing I don't have to do is convince anyone. I know what I experienced and rather you believe me or not does not matter to me. But please show me where Apple says that if you have your phone in low power mode it won't possibly last 24 hours. I call BS, but please show us where Apple has documented this. I know you can't, but put up or shut up.

Tell us about the you saw Bigfoot, it's slightly more believable than your claim your claim your iPhone used such little battery power. I have a back up Samsung that can easily last for 8 hours watching videos and playing games, so according to your obvious lie, your phone only used 62% of your battery for at least 16 solid hours of straight use.

If you get anyone to believe your claim you should try to sell that sucker The Golden Gate Bridge.

That is it? That is your response! No Apple documentation proof I see. Figures! LOL Also you apparently can't read either, I never said I used my phone a solid 14 hours. What I said was that the battery lasted me for 24 hours while I was stuck at the airport without having to charge. I never actually said how much I used the phone, but for clarification sake, I sent text and did emails occasionally, along some Facebook. But nothing in my message said I used it constantly for 14 solid hours. If you could read and not jump to conclusions you'd realize that.

Well, some people get off on that... :-D

I'm not applauding the removal of the headphone jack. I'm applauding the fact that I won't have to deal with the awkwardness of plugging in the headphones while it's charging. Those two cords are cumbersome, I'm glad I only have to deal with one now.

As far as audio quality goes we'll have to see. I just got Tidal so I have only recently been able to listen to good sound quality on my iPhone. Maybe they'll compensate with the Lighting connector, maybe they won't, but if they don't then I'll just have to find another way to listen to my music on the go.

I cannot say the last time I plugged in to my headphone jack. However, I do use the lightening plug very often for listening to music. So, I just don't really care that they have removed it. In the long term I don't think for Apple is going to be a big deal. I do see why some folks that have invested in headphone jack assessories will be upset though.

Are you kidding me? Losing a lot of the bezel and the home button for smaller form factor with same size display or same form factor with bigger display, OLED, induction charging and possibly even a retina scanner as finger print security replacement will make this update look like a joke.

I'm so confused. Can't you refrain from plugging in your headphones with the current 6s and have this experience? Did you need Apple to force you into this position?

Talk about a fallacious statement.

Oh, please enlighten us with your non-fallacious knowledge. How are we supposed to use the Lightning port for headphones and charge the battery at the same time?

If you are going to tell us there will be a dongle or an adapter that allows us to do so, please explain why that is a better solution than having a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

You are absolutely right in that if you are wanting to use headphones or earbuds there is no way to charge and listen. Now, you can charge and listen if you use one of the apple docks with the headphone jack and/or if you are listening in a car where the head unit supports USB audio, then it will allow you to listen and charge. There is no doubt this is not going to be a great solution for everyone. But I think what it boils down to is how many actually listen and charge at the same time as part of their daily activities? Just asking as I really don't know as I really never use the headphone jack myself.

Again you can't read and you jump to conclusions that are not in evidence. It was a nice try, but you failed to prove me wrong! LOL

You got caught lying trying to hype the iPhone battery and now you're trying to dig your self out of that hole and move the goalpost.

I still used it a good bit. What I found funny is that my co-worker with Android phones plugged in at least 2 times to fully charge their phones and when I got home that next morning at 7 AM I still had 18% battery life after 24 hours. I used my phone as much as they did. So, anything they can do to improve battery is greatly appreciated. But the iPhone 6S Plus in lower power mode is a beast. :)

So now your claim is that your co worker sent a few text and checked Facebook a few times but it somehow drained a fully charged battery twice since your coworker had to fully charge their phone twice.

So you either are lying about how much your coworker used their phone or your lying about the amount of battery your phone used, either way you're lying.

I did use my phone as much as they did, but what they didn't do that I did do was use low power mode. You have not been able to prove me wrong and now you are all pissed off like the big smartypants you are. LOL It was a nice try, but again you failed! You trying to make this into an Android / Apple battle and that dog isn't going to hunt. You really need to take some reading comprehension classes smartypants, because you clearly don't get it. It's okay though, I'll give you the last word though because somehow I know that is important for you. LOL

Yeah sending a few text and checking Facebook occasionally and the usage you claimed will drain a fully charged Android phone twice....

Sorry, I know it hurts to be exposed as a complete fraud and a liar but your claims has no basis in facts or reality.

There are other solutions. Of course, the sales figures show us the world is rapidly switching to wireless headphones (this summer wireless took over lead in sales revenue of headphones for first time and is already 20% volume of market). But beyond BT and other wireless options, there is Pad charging, wireless charging, dual adapter, etc. You have to think outside of the box. You're assuming that Apple engineers haven't thought of the issues that need to be overcome.Remember, they are users themselves, plus they have one of the largest R&D budgets in the world, so you may be surprised on Wed.

There you have it, the last word. You feel better now smartypants? Even if your are wrong! LOL

Antisocial: contrary to the laws and customs of society; devoid of or antagonistic to sociable instincts or practices.

Your predilection for large, saturated, or otherwise non-standard fonts is contrary to the customs of this forum and shows a lack of sociable instincts. A dislike button would simply be a way for the community to give you that feedback without having to tell you so directly and publicly-- in the same way people would express that feeling with body language or facial expressions if we were all talking in person.

You often have worthwhile things to say, but I find the visual clutter of your posts distasteful enough that I avoid reading them. The chaos gets you noticed, but it undercuts your argument. It also makes it hard for you to distinguish whether people are reacting to your substance or style.

It's not a ransom note, it's a discussion.
