As an app developer, I leave the phone flat next to my computer during development, and dozens of times an hour I need to unlock the phone to test a code update. Picking up the phone, entering a six digit passcode, or worse: moving your face to a position in front of the camera would be _way_ more of a hassle than the quick fingerprint unlock I'm used to now.
I'm hoping that all the developers at Apple who may be testing this out now will see the same problem!
Are you kidding? How is on the apple watch? Still rounded and smaller
How so? It looks nearly the same size as the charging point on the Apple Watch
Touch ID in the back is not practical at all so to use it you have to lift up the phone each time you need it
These rumors of Touch ID on the back don't make sense not because it's "Un-Apple like to put Touch ID in the back" but because all the rumors up to this point have been talking about an "all glass design" My theory is that this is the 7S & the iPhon 8/Edition will be constrained but have Touch ID in the screen & have the all glass design. I might be wrong but I feel like some key piece of information is missing or hasn't leaked yet that would provide clarity in the rear Touch ID.
A jack? What's a jack? Is that something they used to have on a typewriter? No jack, no buy.
Seems like "just a render" created by someone.its almost like they copy from android and what the most unimaginative fans would want: "if I could get a plus with a 5 body, I'd be down"
I mean, looks sweeter than 6/6s/7 design, but come on Apple
INNOVATE! with a design. Come up with a new design. Stop using old designs. Take a chance beyond courage.
I dunno how many ways to say it
I'm still betting the "mysterious hole" is for wireless charging
It would be more cool if they used it as a notification light that changes different colours depending on the notification. Given Apples dislike for having flashy, blinking lights on their products it's highly unlikely though.
