iPhone Air With Dual Lens Camera Coming in Spring 2027

Should have shipped with 2 rear cameras, and 2 speakers to begin with. Samsung did both and included a heat shield in a chassis that was slightly thicker than the air. Granted the Galaxy Edge didn't sell well, but those specs wouldn't have hurt the Air's chances in the market.

A few weeks ago I finally got to play around with the Air. It was love at first sight, so a new version is welcome news. Just not a fan of this staggered release schedule they're coming up with now

This gives me hope it'll still be around by the time I'm ready to upgrade. Adding the ultra wide removes the one hard line stopping me getting an Air. If it has stereo speakers, there won't even be a decision to make.

Got to hold an Air for the first time in an Apple Store this month … it was probably my favorite iPhone design since the iPhone 4. It is a beautiful device, but the battery life of my 17PM is “out of this world” and I could never give it up. I could not care less about the difference in camera quality but the battery life & audio quality are so important to me now.
 
Love my Air. I’ll need both a second lens and a second speaker for stereo audio before I upgrade. I’m not gonna be suckered by drip feeding features this time.

This exactly the set up I’m using and the reason behind it.

Also, since the gym is my second home , the air is a must. It has been a pleasure using the air.

I’d be interested if they’d make the two cameras wide and telephoto, but I use the zoom too much to move away from a Pro model. Am I the only one who just doesn’t use the ultra wide due to the fisheye effect?

An additional camera is very much needed. A telephoto lens is not going to happen but an ultra wide lens with the overall camera system equal to the base iPhone 17 is a good change.

My dream iPhone would be the IPhone Air dual camera stereo speakers with a 6.9 screen size … but I guess the next one would do fine …
 
Now, it'd be cool if they put one camera on the left and one on the right of that bump. That way it doesn't rock when you have it on the table!

Which is why there's a 0% chance of that happening. For sure they'll put them on the corner in the stupidest arrangement possible.
