Never had a white iPhone....maybe now is the time to try something new.
...I do wonder if there is a reason for this, tho. But end of the day colour doesn't really matter.
I change colours every iPhone/iPad as you can see in my signature.

I have had space grey since the 3G. I know it probably won't make a difference, but I do worry if I will find the white faceplate distracting.

I think the whole "white front is distracting" is a myth, it has never bothered me in the slightest.
Welp, they seem to have all gone now. Several London stores had them...as well as Meadowhall.

Heh....you got in before my edit. I realised I had been looking at the Silver stock levels. There was stock of the grey, tho, just not as much as silver.
Tip is to keep checking in the morning I guess.

Here's one and the only reason why you need to get the SG. It looks miles better than the rest of the colour choices.

All phones on the UK store are now 2-3 weeks to despatch from China, that means you could easily be waiting 4 weeks if you order today, and some people say it isn't selling very well, well it must be selling better than Apple thought it would hence the long delivery times.
Yeah, I just noticed that. I have 2 coming next week, allegedly. I should camp outside CPW/Apple Store and sell them for a profit
Apparently people who ordered from O2 are having their deliveries, pencilled in for this week, pushed back to 27th April for the 64GB SG model.

I am in exactly the same position. Not sure I could go for the Gold/Rose Gold colours, but thinking White/Silver might be ok for a change.
