Went to my local carphonewarehouse this morning, both versions of Space Gray sold out. Whats going on? Its actually starting to annoy me a little bit as it seems stock is even more limited than was the case with iPhone 6s.

I think Vodafone UK has some stock.

You need to stop going into store and hoping. Just order from somewhere, and you'll have it in a couple of weeks.

Which is probably about the same amount of time it'll take to get lucky in store....plus think of all the time you'll save ;)

Having had a look at the iPhone SE in my local Carphone Warehouse this morning I have to say it's a very nice phone.

Couldn't see myself going back to a 4" display (at one stage I did consider it) but if I had to the iPhone SE would be my phone of choice.

I just did and it should be available to pick up from the Apple store as of 29th April - ouch... :(

Check the Apple store availability each morning on the website.

I think a lot of stores are getting them in fairly regularly, but selling out by the end of the day.

But I got one in Birmingham doing that last week - saw they had them, and headed down. Got there just after lunch and was able to pick up a 64GB in space grey.

I think those days might be gone, at least for time being, dates have now been pushed back to May 3rd for the S/G 64GB in most stores.

Looks that way.

Must admit I was surprised at how quickly I picked one up last week. I saw on the Tuesday that they were shipping to stores, but got one on the Thursday.

I remember when the 5S came out it took ages to get one in store - was the end of October when I got it, and even then there was a queue outside the store with numbered tickets.

Are people still claiming this phone isn't selling very well?

Probably.

Its Apple, so the only two options are 'record breaking sales' and 'abject failure'.

Some more stock could possibly come today... right?

I highly doubt it, I just checked the site again, and nothing available...

The problem is that online Apple and the Apple stores are operated like 2 separate companies.

For the life of me, I don't understand why a store I have ordered a pick up delivery for show up as April 14, but they have physical stock of the devices for sale.

Anyway, I guess it makes sense for Apple. I decided to play their game yesterday, cancel my online order and just pick one up at the store.

I feel your pain. Its so annoying that online orders get second hand treatment. It should be the other way around

John Lewis online currently has stock of the Rose Gold, both 16gb and 64gb - plus has 2 year warranty. Unfortunately I am looking for silver 64gb...

Slightly OT but what do people think would be the best way to swap a 6s for an SE.

The 6s seems to be going for around £450 and I'm loathed to sell it for that so soon after spending £619 on it.

Anyone know any decent trade in prices? Apple don't seem to offer trade in on it yet.

Annoyed at myself for buying it and not waiting 4 more months (but I could have been doing that forever).

Can't afford to go out and buy the SE then sell the 6s as I don't have the funds due to spending my phone fund (I have a servings account I put into each month then buy my phones outright) on the 6s.

I paid £799 for my 128GB and I recycled it for £595 and got the SE. Such is life.

Im on Three, their sim free phones are locked to Vodafone cards

Since when? Three's IPhones shouldn't lock to any cards as they come now directly from Apple.

I walked in on the 31st at about 11am and bought one. They had run out of Gold but I got Rose instead. Not a problem as I also got a blue case too.

But there was no rush to get it in store.

Keep an eye on giffgaff also they have some 16/64 in stock, They are unlocked and from Apple. I've bought my 6S from there never had a problem using it on other networks

Many people overlook or do not know about giffgaff phones. I am not a customer of theirs apart from buying a phone from them once.

Edit: They make you buy a £10 voucher too now (was not the case then) so you might not want to bother with them.

Apple is just too slow... I have just cancelled my order with them and ordered through carphonewarehouse instead, delivery date is 18th of April, that's a 11 days earlier than from Apple Store.

PS: Your date is 19th, lol, lets see who receives the phone first... :)

I might cheat, and get a white/silver one. Could have it tomorrow ;)

Never had a white iPhone....maybe now is the time to try something new. :p

...I do wonder if there is a reason for this, tho. But end of the day colour doesn't really matter.
