Yes, reasonable stocks in store at the moment - except for the most popular models, of course!

SG64 proving tricky to get hold of...!

I was hoping there would be plentiful stock of the SG64 by now. Beginning to wish I'd ordered online. Also makes me wish even more that Apple had made a 128GB version, which I would have happily paid the extra for, although maybe that would have been just as difficult to get hold of, who knows?!

I've gone for it. I can always return it if I decide I don't like it.

Popped into O2 shop at lunch to have a look at them in the flesh. The Rose Gold, while not for me, looked very nice. Couldn't comment on any other colours as they had no stock o_O

Guy said they were getting them in tomorrow, and could hold a Silver one back. Tempted.

Although, what do I do with the 2x SG models coming next week...heh

While I think the silver/white is the best colour of iPhone, my last 3 have been this colour, I would say 100% get the colour you want, even if it means waiting. You will likely have the phone a minimum of a year (maybe longer), that's a long time to have a phone in a colour you regret, for the sake of waiting a week or two now.

Do you guys know if london apple stores are delivered every day?

It appears to be a lottery. Which, given your name, is quite apt.

Just check in the morning via the website is my best advice. i.e Put the phone you want in your basket on the Apple website, take it to checkout then check stock in your nearest stores.

Ok thanks.
What I like about in store purchase is the ability to get refunded directly in store (in case you lose at lottery)

Is it the same policy when you buy online and pickup in store?

Well, I got bored and ordered a White/Silver one from O2. Fancied a change in colour, so will see how it goes. Going to hold off cancelling the SG 64GB incoming next week, just in case I hate it. Which I doubt....it's just a phone after all.

There are SG64 in stock in Birmingham if you happen to live there, and if you're quick!

edit - all gone.

No luck today in Manchester, even called around Currys, Argos, and John Lewis.

Anyone know what time in the morning Apples site will update availability?

None at the Arndale today but got one for collection from John Lewis (had gold and rose gold 64gb when I looked)

Any more people got an SE from John Lewis that they have confirmed is truly unlocked?

When I asked a staff member recently they were fairly sure they lock to the first network used, even when I pressed them on the point saying people online had said different... Not that they had any stock anyway.

I have a John Lewis iPhone SE and I have used both Tesco and EE sims in it with no problem.

no one is buying the 16 GB model huh?
Oh they absolutely are. The stores are selling out of all models quickly, including all the 16s.
It's just that there has been hardly any SG64 stock actually being delivered to stores in the last 10 days.
Perhaps it's the most popular online order so a lot of stock is going directly to online orders.
But all models of the SE are selling out. It's a massive success.

John Lewis have 64GB Gold in stock at the mo.

Apple online must really be struggling looking a their dates.

Order status on the Apple store has been down all morning, it says it is extremely busy at the moment, please try again later.

If I remember correctly then the Apple store is usually down on a Sunday morning. I remember this seems to be apparent during every launch. I'm sure it happens every Sunday but people only notice it on or around launch time.
