Those with late April delivery times are definitely better off cancelling and just going to the nearest Apple store.

Indeed. Especially as you can order it online for pickup at your local store, so you don't even have to rush down!

Here's the 12:00 stock update..

A few models have sold out in London stores, and Birmingham today, but healthy stocks elsewhere.

Seems like the Rose Gold is available everywhere, I'm surprised because it's such a great colour.

Apart from us poor souls who are about 50 miles equidistance between their two local Apple stores.

Edit: Ok, what am I missing here? @BMcCoy's list is showing stock everywhere, but when I check via the Apple Store:

Hopefully all those cancelling their orders and going instore means mine comes earlier than the 19th.

Nothing.
It's just high demand saw most of that stock I showed earlier get sold this afternoon; particularly the Space Grey 64GB model, which is clearly the most popular one. I've just had a look too, and no-one has any stock left this evening.

I picked up my SG64 from Edinburgh this afternoon, and the Store guy confirmed with me what we observed online.. they got a pile of stock in just after 9am... several got reserved online for pickup, and the rest were all sold to walk-in customers by early afternoon.

Yeah, I thought as much when I checked the timestamp on your post.

I wonder why stores are getting such an influx of stock, yet online orders are getting pushed back to far.

That is probably why, Apple must be sending most of it's stock to stores.

I know that makes sense, but it's a touch annoying. Oh well, it get here when it gets here. Even if my local stores get stock, there is no way I am doing a 100 mile round trip to pick one up. Especially seeing as my first had to go back.

The problem is that online Apple and the Apple stores are operated like 2 separate companies.

For the life of me, I don't understand why a store I have ordered a pick up delivery for show up as April 14, but they have physical stock of the devices for sale.

Anyway, I guess it makes sense for Apple. I decided to play their game yesterday, cancel my online order and just pick one up at the store.

This phone is selling out super fast!
I predict high sales figures... in the UK at least.

Here's today's availability in store, as of 11:30.
A few Rose Golds about, but scanty stock of everything else.
Almost no 64GB models left anywhere....

I got mine through Three upgrades on Tuesday - 64GB space grey. I was quite lucky, their online thing told me at least 7 days for delivery but I nabbed the last one in my local store.

I have the 16GB Rose Gold, looks like my phone isn't that popular.

I have the Rose Gold iPad Pro and I love the colour.

In various images it looks pinker than it actually is which I feel doesn't help; come September (depending what Apple announce) I can see my next iPhone being in Rose Gold.

Likewise, I'm considering buying a Rose Gold iPad Pro to replace my Silver iPad 4.

The Rose Gold is nice, but for me the white bezel puts me off, both iPhone and iPad size.
I would really only buy a black bezel'd device, so that limits me to the SG option only, across the products.

Here's a stock update as of 12:00...
- rose golds still widely available.
- silvers and golds out of stock everywhere apart from Plymouth, which finally got some stock in today.. (although not all models)

I noticed Apples website says 7-10 days until despatch on all models today.

Does this mean despatched from china or the uk, if it is from china am i right in thinking it would be about another 7-10 days.

Probably. Given they are saying it ships in 7-10 days, but ETA for delivery/pickup is around the 28th April.

I think it's safe to say the iPhone SE has been a hugely successful release - in the UK at least!

Still a 2 week wait (approx.) for website orders, and hardly any stock left in stores.
Even the Rose Golds are now sold out across the country..

Went to my local carphonewarehouse this morning, both versions of Space Gray sold out. Whats going on? Its actually starting to annoy me a little bit as it seems stock is even more limited than was the case with iPhone 6s.
